FAQ for Beyond the Bet DLC

Can I access Beyond the Bet through my old save files?

Probably not. A lot has changed between versions. Instead of loading an old save, please just start a new game – you’ll have the option to jump straight into the new content.

How do I install the Adult Patch?

Exactly the same as Beyond the Bet! Just download the adult patch and follow the install instructions above.

Note: The adult patch will do nothing if you don’t own Beyond the Bet. It doesn’t add any 18+ scenes to the original game portions.

Voice acting? Japanese translation?

Voice acting and JP translation will be coming some time (late) next year.

Is there new achievements?

Nope! Devs decided not to add them so that people who choose not to buy Beyond the Bet don’t lose their 100%. Devs don’t want to force people to buy a DLC to get every achievement. Hopefully Steam one day splits out achievements for DLCs!

Are the Expansion DLC and Beyond the Bet the same?

No, they’re both totally separate DLCs. The expansion DLC adds a collection of new customization options to the character creator, and also adds new choices and an ending to the original game. Beyond the Bet adds an entirely new path to the game that starts at day 6 and goes until day 10, adding four new endings.

How do I access the artbook on Steam once it releases?

You’ll find it in the game files. Please follow this guide:

• Go to your Steam Library, find your game, and right-click it.
• Click on “Properties”.
• Look for the “Local Files” tab and click “Browse…”.
• When the folder opens, look for a folder with a name that matches what you’re trying to find.

I preordered Beyond the Bet on Kickstarter but didn’t get a key!

What about new endings?

Ending 6 is about future together and wanting to go home related choices, ending 7 be too scared of losing Casper, ending 8 soul baby choices, ending 9 not bowing down to the system, wanting to leave something behind to be remembered by, staying in the Underworld.
