Guide to Cost-Effective Strategy
By Vax
While using my collector heroes (Cleopatra + Dario), I encountered a situation where I had no resources to use in my base. How can I collect in a cheaper way?
I started to notice that the collection bonuses come from the heroes themselves, but the amount you can carry depends only on the troops used!
When choosing the best troop (thinking about economy in times of scarcity), I observed that level 2 troops do not cost gold and are cheaper than level 1 (surprisingly) and level 3. The load for level 2 is 60 points, while for level 3 it is 75.
Spearmen
- Level 1 = Food 75.9k, Wood 25.3k, Gold 50.6k, Stone 50.6k (Load 45).
- Level 2 = Food 60k, Wood 18k, Stone 18k (Load 60).
- Level 3 = Food 84k, Wood 24k, Gold 24k, Stone 24k (Load 75).
Therefore, the load of level 2 troops can be a good help for those who need to use their resources (especially gold) on other units (like combat units, for example).
It’s important to remember that the number of troops a hero can carry depends on their level, equipment, etc. However, using a cheap troop with potential (not considering combat, as the goal is to have a cheap and accessible collection) is a great strategy.
I hope this helps, and in the future, I will think of new ways to save resources for your civilization.
