Guide to Making Money in the Early Game

Basic Setup

• Build a Temple in every province you own.

• Place Tax Collectors in each province after the temples.

Improving Your Economy

• Once you have temples and tax collectors, go to the left menu.
• Find the Tax Efficiency tab and increase it for each province.
• Do the same with the Economy tab for each province.

Expanding Your Territory

• Look for smaller, weaker countries near you.
• Start a war with one of them (Example: North Macedonia).
• Take over their land completely.
• Fix any core construction issues.
• Change the religion if needed.
• Repeat the basic setup steps in your new provinces:
  • Build temples
  • Add tax collectors
  • Improve tax efficiency
  • Boost economy

Using the Civilization Legacy Tab

• Find the white Greek statue icon at the top.
• Click it to open Civilization Legacy.
• Look for Administrative Legacies – these help you make more money.
• “Efficient Taxation” is good for early game.
• You get points for this by building certain buildings that give monthly points.

These steps will help your country grow stronger and wealthier. Start with the basics and work your way up.
