Guide to Weapons Rack Build
By Layeadright.
How to Maximize Efficiency
The Weapons Rack would give a weapon a chance to trigger another weapon into attacking. Every attack of each weapon would receive the same 25% chance into triggering the other Star weapons without using your stamina!

Additional note: Free attacks triggered by the Weapons Rack can’t trigger additional an attack. It would be too OP.
Filling all the stars might sound good, but it diminishes the chance of a more powerful weapons from triggering.
Here’s why Ronan:
- Let’s say that we have an Excalibur, two Royal Seux’s, an Amethyst Blade and an iron sword. It sounds good right? But this would also mean that the Iron sword would have the chance to be triggered by other weapons in the rack Star that should have gone to the other more powerful weapons.
- More to the bullet point above, adding a rock/lava rock to make that final star turn gold will also make it possible for the other weapons in the rack to activate it, losing the chance for the more powerful weapons.
After knowing everything above, it seemed like Weapons Rack’s glaring strength can be a weakness too, right? That’s where I stop you.
Here’s how you can turn this glaring weakness to even make your build even more powerful!
Don’t believe me? Try the following and see their effects:
- Using 5 weapons with around the same power level (Buff Generation/Debuff Inflictions) in the 5 Star areas of the weapons Rack would consume a lot of stamina especially if there are no daggers in this line up.
- Make 1 to 2 wrath potions with vanguard belts if possible. The more these stamina consuming weapons activate, the more wrath potion would pop off, giving you a bunch of Empower buffs as a result.
- Add the following essences for better chances of winning in the 6th Star placement intended for weapons. You can also substitute it with a whetstone for the extra Damage and Crit Chance.
- Knight’s Sigil near Unbreakable Wall/s would generate more Empower than you realize.
Everything above would make an Iron sword or even a wooden sword deal a bunch of damage thanks to the Empower that you helped generate by equipping multiple weapons that uses stamina plus wrath potions!
Limitations
We need to accept that even with the 6 Stars it has, each weapon will always count as 1 star even when the weapon’s whole body is supposed to be drenched in the stars of the Weapons Rack. I guess it would serve as the limitation of the unique that prevents it from being overpowered but this limitation can still be treated as an obstacle we can walk around.
Yes, you guessed right! More weapons!!
You already had those Empower stacks from the wrath potions, use it well and add daggers, a few other weapons like, rocks and throwing hatchet or even other stamina consuming weapons like Frost cleavers, Polyphemus Bane, Shovel and a few others.
Now the limitation we can’t overcome this time is the 6×9 inventory space.
Also don’t forget that having more weapons would make you more prone to burst builds. Balance it with Unbreakable Wall or Bolstered Helmet depending on what you prefer. But this doesn’t mean all weapons plus potions and belts build isn’t strong either. It is! Just pray not to encounter a strong Harkon or it will be a thrilling set of rounds.
Explosive Potential / Sample Builds
Weapons Rack + Unbreakable Wall Build
I should have died in this matchup no matter what but since I maximized the Weapons Rack’s uniqueness partnered with more weapons, and a bunch of other damage or speed enhancing items, I was able to deal more damage in the shortest time possible even with the stuns I received.
Weapons Rack Against World Ender Harkon
Since all weapons are powerful and I didn’t bother placing all weapons in the stars but it still did the job. It’s because I was being paranoid in this playthrough that I would lose against a Harkon, I didn’t sell my Frost Barrier forced upon me by a quest and the Bolstered helmet since both of these defensive items are great against strong Harkon builds. And as you have observed, since the only weapons in the weapons rack are all powerful, it’s only either of the Frost Cleaver or Excalibur would activate, giving stronger results, but yes, it would be better to have the other weapons fill those stars too.
Triple Excalibur + Frost Cleaver No Shield / Armor Except Boots Build
I could win with perfect hearts but I wanted to try and make three Excaliburs and it is possible. Please take note that this is a risky build to try if you just started out. I just included this clip to show the Weapons Rack’s Explosive Potential even without Knight’s Sigil and Unbreakable wall. Try to wear bolstered Helmet to survive burst builds as well.
Triple Amethyst + Frost Cleaver + More Weapons
Below is an example that even with the uncompleted end game weapons, this build still kicks anyone to oblivion! Fine sword is positioned this way to let the Weapons covered with Weapons Rack’s Star have extra Damage. If you find an essence or whetstone, it’s up to you what to place in the final 6th star area.
Mythic Rush Build
What matters is that we are enjoying the game. Make sure to do a build you’re comfortable with. This guide only showed you what’s possible when you choose the Weapons Rack Unique.
