Baldur’s Gate 3 – Gloomstalker Assassin Fighter Warcleric Build

Guide to Gloomstalker Assassin Fighter Warcleric Build

5 Gloomstalker, 4 Assassin, 2 Fighter (or 3, depending on itemization), 1 War Cleric. This is honormode. Build and attack shown is not optimized, just for giggles.

Does not require illithid at all!

Gloomstalker for Dread Ambusher, Gloomstalker 3 for Disguise, Gloomstalker 5 for misty step and multi-attack.

Assassin 3 for the frontloaded damage – challenge is securing surprise rounds.

Fighter 2 for Action Surge (clearly) Battlemaster 3 for superiority dice versatility.

War Cleric 1 for the war priest charge – last I know, it’s broken and can’t be toggled.

Feats would be dependent on Hag’s hair. If you have the hair, lvl 4 ASI Dex 19 + Hag’s hair 20. No Hag’s hair, Athelete. Lvl 9 Assassin 4, Sharpshooter. Don’t need sharpshooter early with this build. Do not need 3rd feat. Set yourself up to kill everything in turn 1, or weak ones turn 2.

Stats:

  • Str 8
  • Dex 17
  • Con 8
  • Int 10
  • Wis 16
  • Cha 14

Best part about this build is: if you pickpocket Lann Tarv at Moorise every chance you get, you’ll have enough Angelic Reprieve potions to not require a long-rest for the rest of the game.
