Big Ambitions – Gameplay Tips

Useful Tips and Tricks

Beginner

Marketing: Buying ads helps your business.

Traffic: The number next to the car icons shows potential customers.

Promotion: Shows how many people might buy from you if your prices are good.

  • Don’t buy from Metro Wholesale. Use the bigger store down the road instead
  • Always talk to the store clerk so you can order from them later
  • You don’t need to interact with Fred after getting the car
  • Eating and keeping happiness up isn’t necessary, but make sure to sleep
  • Buy a van to replace the car for future warehouse use
  • Always use the maximum amount of marketing
  • Have more storage than you think you’ll need
  • Look for areas with 30+ traffic. Maximum marketing works best here
  • Use checkouts instead of registers if you can afford them
  • Use Market Insider to find good business locations
  • Expensive items sell better in upper-class areas, cheap items in working-class areas
  • Price colors show how likely items are to sell: white, yellow, red (from least to most likely)

Novice

Don’t stress about employees who ask for things like bigger desks. You can easily find new workers to replace them. Training new employees only takes a few days and is handled automatically by the HR department. Marketing takes time to show results. Expect lower profits in the first week compared to later weeks.

Set up a warehouse and start shipping from overseas as soon as you can. For this, you’ll need:

  • 1 delivery driver
  • 4 purchasing agents
  • 1 logistics manager
  • 1 HR person for every 50 employees
Train these workers fully before giving them tasks. Make sure you have enough money for this, as you need to ship large amounts at once.

For your main office (HQ), don’t worry about a limit on the number of people. You can put in as many desks and chairs as you want.

Pro

When your daily earnings reach about $200,000, you might see that many businesses in an area are already owned by others. You can purchase these businesses from their owners and then run your own business as the only one of its type in that location.

For example, I bought a hair salon in the middle of the city for $1 million. After doing this, the daily profit from my salon doubled, going from $80,000 to $160,000.
