BlazBlue Entropy Effect – How to Beat Susanoo (The Final Boss)

Tips to Defeat Susanoo

Tips

Story and motion are two different things. Forget it once.

  • The actions you should always watch out for are counters and bursts.
  • Counters will either burst or attack in a wide range, so after confirming the counter, step quickly if it’s a burst, otherwise step with good timing. This is a habit.
  • Summons also react to counters, so quick judgment is required to avoid unexpected counters.
  • Basically, if you jump and then step, you will be able to dodge Susanoo’s linear attack, even if it is a lunge or jump attack.
  • When trying to avoid a jump or lunge at the edge of the screen, it’s better to head towards the center. Even if you can avoid it while jumping, there is a chance that you will be hit by the impact when you land.
  • If you use a wide range attack, you will be hit if you jump and use up your steps, so be careful.

Phase 1

  • First come down and use shockwaves to the left and right, then jump and step to avoid Susanoo.
  • After that, there is a high probability of summoning a ball, but sometimes it will do something different, so don’t let your guard down.
  • Summon a ball → Beam from below → Susanoo fires a bullet.
  • If it’s 1 jump or 1 step, it’s better to destroy about half of the balls.
  • In the case of 1 Jump & 1 Step, even if you barely avoid it, you will be hit unless you keep floating in the air with Legacy or Skill.
  • If it’s 3 jump or 3 step, keep attacking and focus on evasion.
  • At first, there are many patterns of ball summoning → rapid fire → counter. But not absolutely.

Phase 2

  • It does not summon balls or shoot beams.
  • First Slash. Avoid by jumping or stepping.
  • Once he can move, be a little wary, he may attack right away.
  • In Phase 2, mowing is added, but there are many gaps and you can avoid it by jumping.
  • Be careful of your head because gimmicks will come down.
  • If you destroy the gimmick near Susanoo, Susanoo will be stunned, and then it will always roar, so it is also the timing to attack.
  • Be careful of the counter.

Phase 3. BlazBlue

It doesn’t call a ball, but it fires a beam. Susanoo collapses. After dealing damage, repeat when Susanoo enters the attack motion, focusing on evasion.

Once he goes to the edge of the screen and his energy is concentrated, immediately go behind him.

  • When you reach the middle, avoid the beam from below.
  • Jumping will make you move faster, so avoid the first attack calmly by jumping, and then avoid the small attacks.
  • The rest of the moves are the same, but be careful where the jump attack lands, it has a bit more range.

Just be careful with the counter.
