The game has many factors that can make it harder to see clearly. However, you can improve visibility by adjusting some settings.
Settings
- Turn off FS3 or set it to quality. FS3 is AMD’s version of DLSS. It renders the game at a lower resolution and then upscales it. This makes distant objects harder to see.
- Turn off FSR3. Unlike DLSS, FSR3 uses AI to generate additional frames between your existing frames. It predicts what things would look like. This can cause visual artifacts. The lower your FPS is before enabling FSR3, the more it will impact visibility.
- Set shading quality to low. This removes some shadows but helps a bit with visibility.
- Set post processing to medium. This makes the game look less washed out in bright areas.
Extra tips
- Turn off grain in the graphics settings.
- Enable sharpness in the graphics menu and adjust it to your preference.
- Disable motion blur in the graphics options.
- Reduce or turn off camera shake in the Controls > General menu.
That covers the main settings to tweak.
How to Fix DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG Crash Error
Here are two possible fixes you can try:
- Browse through Bodycam’s files.
- Go into Bodycam > Bodycam > Binaries > Win64 > D3D12.
- Delete the D3D12Core.dll file.
If that didn’t work
- You need revert to get the file back.
- Try this to launch the game in compatibility mode (see screenshot below).
You can also, if applicable, reduce your overclock. If you overclock too high, the game may push the GPU past its limit and result in the device hanging. Reducing your OC will provide more headroom for the GPU.
