Brighter Shores – Stonemason Leveling Tips

How to Level Up Stonemason

By Homd

Hey after looking at XP rates and cost for leveling Stonemason, I highly recommend only crafting the 3 stone ranged weapons. Why? These items provide very good XP for copper spent consistently across each item. These items are also very good XP/Inventory meaning you will have minimal downtime for travel to storage boxes and selling at the quartermaster.

This method should provide profit basically the entire way.

First buy Coarse Flint, I estimate you need about 90. Etch all of that flint and then craft Basic Throwing stones keep it at your Stonemason level.

Then purchase ~2695 Andesite. You can actually purchase less than this. I am assuming you will 0 KP on Stonemason. So it might be worth buying in batches of 500 and tracking your progress to 40. Etch all of this Andesite and craft Bolas keeping the Bolas at lvl 19. This will guarantee you 25% rare, 25% common and 50% uncommon guaranteeing profit. If you let the Bolas go past 19 you are risking cash as you will receive many fewer rares. 19 is guaraunteed money. There will be a lvl of Bolas better than 19 but I have not yet found that number.

At 40 you unlock Moderate Throwing Stones. This will be your next increase in xp/hr and very good xp/copper spent. Bluntly I am unsure if you will profit straight away when purchasing Rugged Flint but it will hit a breakeven point we guess ~lvl 43 Stonemason. Keep going till 46. You are now ready for Lost and Found.
