ContractVille – How to Use the Compressor

To sell compressed items you need to actually compress them first. Here’s how to do that.

Using the Compressor

First, you need to have bought the office. Now, outside of your office there is a control panel.

In this control panel, you can upgrade your compressor which you need to fo if you want to use it.

After that you need to power it to actually get it to work. There are multiple options for getting power.

When this is relatively at the beginning of the game and you just want to finish the mission I would recommend getting the generator.

If you want to have more long-term solutions solar panels would be better, but all the upgrades cost a decent amount of money. So generator to start with is probably the best choice at this stage.

You also need to buy a gas cannister at the hardware store and fill it with diesel at the gas station.

I would also recommend to go to the office control panel and buy at least 11 battery, but this isn’t actually needed.

The generator is the big yellow unit next to the compressor and the power building. On the right is the gas cap, open it and put the gas cannister here to fill it with diesel. Then on the left there’s a big red button to turn it on.

After you’ve turned it on, go into the power building next to it and turn the compressor switch so the lights will go green.

Once that’s all done, you can finally start using the processor. Go into the processor and open the 2 doors of the machine. Then put 2 of the same boxes inside.

Make sure the doors are closed and locked.

Then with the red lever you can turn on the power of the machine and with the green lever it will start compressing the boxes.

Once it’s done, open the doors and take out the compressed items.

You can sell these at the factory as well.

Note: Level 1 compressor is quite a lot of work to fill and empty but once you’ve upgraded it, it will get a conveyor belt and be a lot faster. Do keep in mind this takes a lot of power too so you might want to consider using something else than the generator.
