Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster – Infinity Mode Survivor Spawns Guide

Infinity Mode Survivor Spawns and New Additions

Key Things to Know for Seven Day Survivor Mode

  • At Level 50, Frank’s health lasts 4 game hours. You need 6 full healing items each day, plus extra for any damage.
  • Health books are in three places: The Sinister Read, Sir Book-a-Lot, and the unfinished store where you save 3 people after fighting Cliff. These books make healing items work better.
  • Food is in the same places as before. There’s plenty in the mall.
  • Zombies start appearing in the Security Room around Day 5.
  • It’s a good idea to get Zombie Annihilator before trying 7 Day Survivor. The Real Mega Buster weapon is very effective.
  • After you get the Saint Achievement, you unlock a book that gives you unlimited ammo and weapon durability. This is very helpful for 7 Day Survivor.

Survivor and Psychopath Appearances

In this mode, Survivors and Psychopaths appear randomly at 12 AM, 7 AM, and 5 PM in the game.

Their locations are mostly the same as before:

  • Hall Family: outside
  • Jo: on rooftop
  • Isabela: in Al Fresca and North Plaza
  • Otis: on rooftop
  • Cliff: in Crislips
  • Adam: in Paradise
  • Paul: in Entrance and Wonderland
  • Greg: in the Security Room
  • Sean: in Wonderland
  • Larry: in the Meat Processing Plant
  • Jeff: in the Food Court
  • Kindell and Susan: in the Warehouse
  • Zombie Jessie: on rooftop

The map shows where NPCs are with blue and yellow markers, but doesn’t say who they are.

Brock appears multiple times on the Helipad. He’s easy to defeat from far away using the Real Mega Buster.

NPC Spawns and Box Drops

  • Cultists and Special Forces start appearing on Day 3.
  • They sometimes drop boxes with different items.
  • Special Forces can drop Wine and Well Done Steak, which fully heal you if you have all 3 Health Books.
  • Health Book locations are the same as before.
  • Be careful of Special Forces:
    • They can stun you easily and shoot you down.
    • You might get stuck in a loop of getting shot while trying to stand up.
    • Save your progress before entering areas with Special Forces.
  • Zombies sometimes drop boxes too, usually with weapons.
    • For example, a zombie might drop Steven’s Weapon Cart.

New Game Features

  • You can skip time at any bathroom.
  • You can save your progress by choosing ‘Suspend Infinity Mode’ in the menu.
    • This lets you continue from where you stopped.
  • When you unlock the Laser Sword, you can get it right away.
    • You don’t need to die and start a new game to use it.
