Death Must Die – Ghost Matter Functionable Achievement Guide

Ghost Matter Functionable Guide

I tried to get this achievement alone and with guides, but it didn’t work. The guides might be old. This is how I did it safely. I’ll explain what to expect.

The hardest parts are two slime groups and killing bosses fast before they hit you. You have 20 minutes and 40 levels, giving you 40 points to use. This isn’t enough for everything, so choose carefully. Most random abilities aren’t good, except Frost Ring. Don’t use Strikes. You only need one point in Attack for the main ability. A fully upgraded attack felt weak. Summons didn’t work well. Even lots of summons didn’t hurt Dracula much.

Enemies will often surround you, so don’t use abilities that only hit one target. I only used The Fates for good Curiosity offers. I played with Merries on the 4th difficulty, but Avorian might work too because of the free Divine Shield.

Walkthrough

First 5 Levels:

Get one skill from each god:

  • Time: Time Field, Warped Attack, or Stillness
  • Lady Justice: Divine Shield or Radiance
  • Winter: Frost Ring or Dive

If you don’t get one from each god, restart.

Skills:

Remove useless skills. Keep Attacks and Dives. Main skills are Time Field for mobs and elites, and Radiance for bosses. Get these first. Max out Time Field, then Radiance. Winter skills are for defense. Use one point each. Use Divine Shield as backup. Stillness helps Time Field.

The Run:

  • 4 minutes: Green Slime Wave. Run around corners.
  • 7 minutes: Necromancer boss. Use freeze and Radiance.
  • 12 minutes: Blue Blob mob. Use Time Field and Radiance.
  • 14 minutes: Two Baron’s Hands. Watch for sprints. Use Time Field and Radiance.
  • 15:30 minutes: Summoners and archers. Kill Summoners fast.
  • 17 minutes: Shield boss. Use Time Field and Radiance.
  • 18-19 minutes: Ice archers. Keep moving.
  • 19 minutes: Skeleton mob and Chatty Skeleton. Use a wall for cover.
  • 20 minutes: Dracula (final boss). Watch for sprint and shots. Freeze and use Radiance.

Focus on maxing Time Field and Radiance. Use Divine Shield for safety. Adapt your strategy based on the skills you get.

Extra Tips

  • You can switch between Time and Winter attack skills.
  • Time Field works well with Eclipse for a bigger area.
  • High Radiance can kill mob groups, but you’re more open to attacks without Time Field.
  • Your character choice isn’t crucial. Pick based on your play style (Avorion for safety, Nixi for speed).
  • Legendary skills exist but won’t change the game much.
  • Levels may change a bit based on how many enemies you kill and which elites appear (like Black Knight).
