Damage Mechanism
- 99% of the damage comes from the LB Lightning Bolt.
- LB will be triggered every time the character moves a fixed distance, so the faster the movement speed, the more often LB will be triggered (movement speed/dash distance from gear/blessing).
- Each LB will cast Bolts, the number of Bolts increases with the level of the blessing and is scaled by the Power projectiles.
- Bolts will only attack enemies within the screen, in the early you can control the screen position so that all Bolts will focus on a small number of enemies.
- All Bolts in a single cast can hit the same enemy, dealing a large amount of single target damage and triggering the Aftershock passive to stun it infinitely.
Problems you may encounter and suggestions (on D100 difficulty)
Easy to die in the first 4 minutes
- (1) Gain ~2 experience per second or more through gear so you can quickly level up to 3-4 without relying on kills
- (2) Choose Ball Lightning or Lightning Bolt for the first 2 blessings, with as high rarity as possible (Expert/Master).Ninh’s Rock Shiled works well early on as well, but Earth’s other blessings aren’t much more advantageous.
- (3) Take out the opening Skeleton Archer elite enemies as quickly as possible
Die to Dogs/witches/bombers at 11:00 or 19:00
- (1) Have a high enough HP pool (better gear, map encounters, Fate blessings)
- (2) Take advantage of BL’s invincibility during dash and extend the dash invincibility through Summer Blessing (as in the video)
Experience shards are too far away to be collected
- (1) Get enough experience area from gear.

Very first fully leveled attempt: I didn’t manage to roll either Justice or Mort for life sustain (ended up Lightning, Time, and War) and blazed through D100 without ever coming close to death—and didn’t even particularly prioritize health over damage on location choices. Busted build is busted. I concur with using Lightning for the dash ability and invulnerability, and The Whale unique armor for raw tankiness and Waste over Silk Road.
I’m missing a Power amulet and a Power/Boss Damage weapon, but I’ve got a Frost Nova instead which seemed fantastic, and Half-Moon dashes on both my jewel and ring, which may be win-more? Hard to gauge the effectiveness vs all the lightning bolts. I’ve just got the Karkadann Unique weapon in the slot (+320% to undamaged enemies) and that seems fine.
I played similar build through Lightning + War + 1 (Justice, Winter – both are fine). Fire in this setup doesn’t seem to be very strong except when combined with Gehenna for leveling.
Also think it is important to increase Pull Area radius (at least to 9-12k) and movement speed (if possible).
