What Does That Mean?
Confuse means the imposter will do things to make you think it’s a different doll. This can only happen once in each game. The imposter will change roles with another doll, and that doll will do something during that hour. In the game’s story, the imposter might do something they don’t usually like or do.
Examples
Here are some examples:
- Let’s say Daniel is the imposter and uses confuse. He might activate the cannon even if he doesn’t like it.
- If Daniel is the imposter and his display case is broken, he might have broken it himself to confuse everyone.
- If Daniel is the imposter, his display case is broken, he’s missing, and there’s blood in his case, he could be pretending to be dead.
FAQ
Can the imposter change the whiteboard?
No, the whiteboard shows what really happened. If the imposter doesn’t like the cannon but activated it, the whiteboard will say he likes to confuse and doesn’t like the cannon.
Can the imposter change another doll’s information?
No, he can’t. The other dolls’ information is the only thing you can trust right now.
Could the imposter fake his own death?
Yes, he could pretend to be someone who hates him and fake his death.
How can I tell if the imposter is tricking me on higher difficulties?
That’s what makes it challenging. You have to look at all the clues carefully. If none of the dolls completely match the clues, but one is close even though some evidence doesn’t fit, then you should start thinking about the dolls who like to confuse.
