Gameplay Tips and Tricks for New Players

General Tips

  • When you first unlock the next location, before moving to the next location, harvest all the resources (leaves, orbs, skulls and blue mushrooms) you can from your current location. It looks like you can’t go back without resetting.
  • When You have got some good DPS and on restart You want to collect all items and dont waste time to wait until kill all monsters check this.
  • Play on windowed game, start killing monster, click RMB on white bar with name of the game to 2-3 sec (game must be “stoped” for this time), click on game chech the rewards.
  • Click 20 times on a cauldron to get resources. Base resources received are as follows:
    • Green gets you 200 leaves, 5min cooldown.
    • Blue gets you 50 orbs, 10 min cooldown.
    • Red gets you 50 skulls, 15min cooldown.
  • Remember your resets. The daily guild loyalty one is your long term growth and how quickly you do the shorter reset is just if you are going for something just out of reach. try to get the bounties and not let the timers on them pause. Scroll back through everything here. Between one person comments or another we cover pretty much everything.

This tip may already be known to a majority of the playerbase, but you cannot skip boosts. Meaning that if you have two boosts on the Scythe you have to upgrade it to 3 -> 4 -> 5 -> 6 in order without skipping. Since this is the case, putting one boost in all originally then investing into the Scythe/Amanita/Wand seems to be the best course of action. In terms of spending gems on shop upgrades only spend gems in the section that contains hero xp and guild reset bonus (spend as needed, but prioritize nonshop upgrades). As a reminder, the costs for the boosts are 400 -> 800 -> 2k -> 4k -> 6k and in Continent 1 you can get ~45 gems a day (10 days each for 1st boost, 20 days for next). I hope that this tip helps slightly.

Tricks Merchant Guild Yellow Stars

  • Can Unlock Green Deck at the Start of a loyality Run
  • Each time you unlock a card with gold the cost increases, with this power up you remove the cost increase, once you have unlocked 5-8 silv cards Use 1 Power up then Alt click buy Lowering the Total cost.

Trick With DPS Guild, Red Star

  • Only way i use this is if i cannot kill the mob i am on within 2-3 pots, Use it move to next ect ect it helps increase the DPS Guild Modifier

Tricks With Magic Guild

  • Ok the wording on the returns for Magic guild is wrong, it is not damage, it is total Damage Modifier

So, you want to push green magic up as high as possible & make as Many Pots as you can during your run click the purple star once around 60-75% depleated spam click on Pots to get a Higher Multiplier at the Start you will only make 50-100% return untill rook stage.

  • Save Scumming, if you do not have Purple and Green sphere Artifacts with atleast Gem Level 1.

How to increase multiplayer magic?

For the Magic Guild, you have the same daily reset as all the others have, but the Magic Guild has a second option. In the Magic Guild, you will notice 3 numbers at the top where it says “Leave the Guild”: the white current number, the green after-reset multiplier increase, and the third blue one in the middle. Now, primarily you increase guild multipliers by doing daily resets, but with Magic, you can increase that blue multiplier by one every time you enter the Magic Guild. So if you do 100 resets in a day and all of them in the Magic Guild, that blue number will go up by 100.

Now, it’s time-consuming, but outside of the daily resets or the leaf glitch for the green magic sphere, this is the only way to increase your Magic Guild damage. The leaf glitch requires getting the Hunter Hero magic sphere cost reduction to 245 or so, which causes a glitch of sorts. What it does is instead of taking leaves per green sphere increase, it gives you leaves, so you have infinite leaf access only limited by how much time you want to invest. Remember though, that is only a temporary, if powerful, boost. You need to do resets to increase your numbers long-term.

Is magic loyalty only supposed to be 1-2e per time?

Yes magic is supposed to be that way and the amount of increase you get from the daily loyalty is based on the increase you get over that guilds current high I believe. So if you skip a guild that does damage for awhile and focus a different damge guild I believe when you check back after a while it will be a bigger increase from loyalty if you can get much more damage in.

What’s the difference in magic multiplier and magic power?

Magic multiplier is a temporary bonus built up by doing damage via teh 2 magic spheres. magic power is a permanent power bonus to the magic spheres which increases everytime you use the magic guild.

So when you do a loyalty reset and everything goes back to zero the first time you enter teh magic guild you will instantly get a bonus to your magic multiplier based upon the magic power of the guild.

How to get the golden card?

Gold cards are teh third tier of unlocked cards. flip them over call it bronze then after al are flipped you can turn one card silver using the blue gem things. This hides all card except for the new silver. reflip over all cards silver a new one. Keep repeating until all cards are silver then you can convert one card into gold tier. This resets all cards back to bronze and hides them.

Converting the one silver card into a gold doesn’t cost a new resource just a large invest of gold. The blue gem sphere things are from two of the monster drop chance, from blue deck and then from alchemy middle blue pot when unlocked.

Which artifacts are more worth it?

The scythe and the Totem and then the magic staff are the top three in my opinion in that order. The totem is arguably more important but its used less.

I prefered maxing out the scythe first over the the staff because the scythe helps with doing a big push and its a lot of free fast kills. The magic staff is a nice boost to the daily reset of the magic guild but again the daily push and play is faster with the scythe so I chose it first. the orb free refills are nice but that really only helps the magic guild temp bonus. the fish hook bonus looks good but the gold from kills will always out pace. The claw again is great but it only helps the warrior guild. The piggy bank is my number 4.
