Guide to Character Tier List

This tier list measures the viability of some of the characters in the meta. This could provide to be helpful for players to see which are the best units they could summon for or upgrade if they have them.

This list doesn’t take into consideration low rank pvp (Battle Rank <60/Top 30k)

Note: Do not use this tier list as the ONE reason to summon for certain characters. This tier list doesn’t account for banner worth, Make sure to ask other people before making a decision.

This tier list will contain more characters instead of the top 15 characters and the character placements within each rank does NOT matter so it doesn’t matter if one unit is ahead of another, they’re considered the same. Only the Z,S+,S,A matter.

• All units are considered at 14 stars. Zenkais will be considered at Zenkai 7.
• If a character has a Zenkai or Unique Equipment, The tier list will account for that accordingly.
• If a character you want to see isn’t on the list, The character will be put in either B or C tier unless stated otherwise.

Z Tier

Best Characters in the Game

Self-explanatory. Most PvP games will involve these characters, the game revolves around these characters. They’re the best in game right now either due to their individual kits, team strength or both.

S+ Tier

Core/Great Characters

These characters tend to be used with the best characters in the game or in general, 1st choice picks due to either Meta character counter, Strong Individual Kits, Strong Teams or have Desirable Effects such as Support and Colour.

They aren’t Z tier because these characters either have noticeable drawbacks such as team issues, or the character individually is weaker than Z tier options

S Tier

Good Characters

Very similar to characters in S+, but with more/worse drawbacks. However, these characters are still pretty good and are used in PvP a fair amount

A Tier

Outdated Characters

These characters were once Z or S tiers, but powercreep or bad meta environment has caught up to them and as a result they aren’t used as much anymore due to how old they are or have been replaced.

These characters are still usable if you have limited options to use in PvP, or want to have fun using an off-meta pick. Some of these characters could be used as a meta character counter (i.e. LL SSJ Goku vs LL Super 17)

B+ Tier

Very Outdated Characters with Niches

Characters that are B tier, but used for very specific purposes like countering characters and support/good for their teams. May see some use in PvP

B Tier

Very Outdated Characters/Bad

Characters that are significantly affected by powercreep/meta environment. Very rarely used in PvP matches. These characters will need zenkais or unique equipment to be ranked higher.

C Tier

Considered Unviable for PvP

Too outdated for PvP now. Can’t compete due to how old or bad they are. Almost never used in PvP. These characters will need zenkais or unique equipment to be ranked higher.

• LL Goku & Bardock: S -> S+

Moved Down

• LL BLU Universal Spirit Bomb Kid Goku: S+ -> S
• SP Fat Buu & Hercule: S+ -> S
