RRC in Sparking Zero!
What the title says. RRC from Budokai Tenkaichi 3 has returned in Sparking Zero. Simply stop pressing buttons mid-chain, and then time it just right so that you can start a new chain while your opponent is in hitstun. RRC can be done again after one of those rush chain extenders (I forget what they call them, Flying Kicks, Kiai Cannon, etc.)
Note: RRC can be blocked in the middle. The combo counter in this game just sucks.
Z Broly Combos
Square + Hold Triangle + Square X2 + Triangle + Square X4 + Dash + Square X4 + Hold Square Up + R2 + Dash + Up Triangle + Up Triangle + Finish off with a skill.
New Flanking Tech
If you cancel a grounded short dash into a jump your character will carry the momentum of the short dash into the jump.
You can cancel this jump into just about anything that isn’t descend. Which means, you can short dash jump over your opponent and input a short dash again to perform a simple flank.
Another piece of tech I found is that if you perform a short dash in a direction not directly towards the opponent, you can cancel the short dash jump into block and perform a semi flank. However, this tech is unlikely to leave you in the range of a rush attack, so you may be better off cancelling into ki blast or a smash instead.
Clipping Underneath Inside Big Characters
There is a glitch where you can clip inside a big character if you are a normal sized character, passing all of the big fighters defenses and normal sized fighter becoming unhittable. As you cant see the normal sized character as well as not being hit them.
Also the camera needs to be zoomed out more and put into a better position, you cant see what is happening in the front most of the time when in close combat.
D-DASH Cl. (*Standard)
The Dragon Dash Flank and Reposition! While you’re doing the flank face-to-face and/or after any reset or preferably step-ins, Dragon Dash then press guard. It also works when you press it outside the “bubble,” but the caveat is you have to press X/A while you’re pressing guard.
The usage for this is: as long as you’re Dragon Dashing outside the “bubble,” you can D-Dash in any direction AND reposition in guard facing your opponent. If you briefly hold guard whether or not you’re in the bubble, this resets you facing the opponent.
The addition to this is while you’re up close like that when you guard, the game keeps the momentum, and if you do it right, you “slide” right behind your opponent!

FAQ
What to do during beam clashes and power impact?
- Power impact you hold the square up until the little golden line and try to keep it in that area.
- Beam clashes: you press triangle and the absolute maximum the bar can go to, you unlock more of the bar’s area by boosting.
- Spamming Y (Triangle for PS5) is also an option for the beam struggles.
Should I spend my money on characters or ability items?
Don’t bother with ability items until you unlock every character. Ability items don’t have much use rn.
How to Unlock Gokus Saga: Truth about Zamasu?
You need to beat Vegeta and Goku fast as you can – I recommend using the chain attacks into supers, going into sparking for extended combo into ultimate, took me a few tries but the more you play the better you get.
How to defeat Burter instead of Jeice? (Goku’s Saga Chapter 2: Arrival on Planet Namek)
- You have to perfectly parry Jeice’s Crusher Ball.
- Precognition, or whatever it’s called, where you can use ki to sense an attack and counter?
- If you do it perfectly against a beam attack, it will deflect it.
- You’ve got to do that against Jeice when he does Crusher Ball.
