A quick guide on where to discover portals and how to activate quick travel.
Fast Travel and Portals Locations
Look for a guy called an Academy Scholar. There are four of them in different places.
Talk to one and get a special notebook. It’s called a Cartography Notebook. Use it to make maps of cool places. This will give you Cipher-Charts. Collect enough of them and give them to the scholar. You’ll get a thing called an Academy Recommendation.
Next, proceed to the Erudite Academy. Hallow Town is to the north of it.
To get to the Academy Island, take the elevator. There’s a woman there named Natalya. The chief engineer is her. Speak with her to begin the mission. “We Don’t Need Roads” is the title. You’ll get a Portal Key from her as well.
Now, look for special buildings called Portals. Each area in the game has one Portal.
Here’s where to find them:
- Erudite Academy: Inside, close to Natalya.
- Pwyll: Go east from Vela’s Fortress.
- Hallowshire: In Hallow Town’s south part, behind the big clock.
- Endless Realm: South of a place called Sepulchre.
- Clockwork Kingdom: North of Ferropolis.
After you find all the Portals, you’ll be able to fast travel in the game.
