It seems the easiest way to kill Arachnor as a baby-faced Platform Manager is to use direct-damage night abilities, especially Machine Gun (sp) and Drone Station, but adding Laser Station as the third ability to top off helps a lot; these exact 3 abilities were how I killed my very first Arachnor. Bear in mind there’s a trick to Machine Gun, but you can probably figure it out if you haven’t already.

Arachnor is Not That Tough once you get a good feel for the game, but there are couple of things to have in mind:

Arachnor Tip 1

• Arachnor can web up to 2 turrets at a time, so you need at least 3 turrets in a section for that section to deal any significant damage.

Arachnor Tip 2

• Eggs and those tiny bugs Arachnor is birthing/seahorsing can body block shots, so high Rate of Fire turrets (like Miniguns) or turrets that can hit despite crowds (like Rockets and Lasers, but maybe not Lasers specifically in this case) are going to perform better than the ol’ GUN 311.

Arachnor Tip 3

• As you might learn later, Cavernous biome nudges you towards having a mix of single-target and Area of Effect turrets even at the bottom. This might help you keep sightlines clear for heavy-hitters and prevent Death by Babies.
