Quick Guide to Lab Equipment
To make a lot of AMP fast as a new chemist, follow this guide. You don’t need to spend too much, and you can make big batches quickly.
- Play until you can raid enemy warehouses.
- Save B250,000 for expensive but worth it equipment.
- Play until Kira sends you to the Nightclub in Slav Bay. Help the Ghetto Equipment guy and free Watto from a warehouse. Watto will then sell high-end lab gear.
- Get bolt cutters, lockpicks, and a crowbar. At night, go to the warehouse near the Slav Bay Mechanic. Find the PHE recipe in the filing cabinet. Break in fast and take all the PHE and ingredients before the alarm.
- After getting the recipe, take your B250,000 from the Pawn Shop and buy from Watto:
- 3 Large Barrels
- 2 Laboratory Autoclaves
- 2 Homemade Soaking Vats
- 2 Chemistry Tables
Equipment and Their Stats
Large Barrels:
- Can hold up to 50 Kilos of products
- Buying 3 gives you 150 Kilos of storage
- Costs around B8000 each
Laboratory Autoclave:
- Uses 1,400 Watts
- Has 30 queue slots
- Saves space, waste, and electricity compared to the oven
- Crafting is faster and produces less waste than the oven
Homemade Soaking Vats:
- Have 200 crafting queue slots
- Useful for mass producing AMP Salts
- Place them outside because they are big
Chemistry Tables:
- Have 90 crafting queue slots
- Use only 5 Watts
- 2 tables working together can quickly make Phenylethylamine from cacao powder
- The professional version is not worth the money
That’s all the equipment you need. From playing DDS1, I learned that you don’t need a lot of equipment for large production, except for Weed. For Weed, you need many planters to grow plants at the same time, but you can use just 2 drying stations.
