Dustland Delivery – How to Edit Out the Infected Status for Chars

Alright, for anyone who wants to edit out the Infected status for your character.

Step-by-step

• Look up your characters “RealName”, it can be found on the characters profile, under the job description.
• Look up the order of the trait you want to remove. (For me, infected was 4th on the list).
• Prepare multiple save files, in case you break your save file. And prepare backups.
• Go to:
  • C:\UsersPCNAME\AppData\LocalLow\NeutronStar\WastelandExpress” in your computer.
• Find the latest save (You can use order by date to find it easier).
• Open it up with any IDE (VS Code) or Text Editor (Notepad++).
• Search for your characters “RealName”(“_realname”:”Six”, my characters name was Six).
• Start going down on the code and look for “PeopleBuff”.
• Locate the one you wish to remove, then do so.
