Dwarven Realms – New Player FAQ

New Player Frequently Asked Questions

I’m stuck at rupture 50-65 what do I do?

This bottleneck is usually due to missing some functionality. One of the common ones is If you have not done Elysia’s Lair. There is a significant damage multiplier you can get on your pet to increase your damage based on extra inventory slots giving you up to 127% more damage just from inventory slots in your skill tree. The other bottleneck generally is gear that needs to be crafted to improve upon it.

Massadian / Kabarian keys: where to use them?

These are old keys that you would use on the chest in the boss room to unlock the recipes at the end of each rupture. I don’t think they have an intended use anymore, so you can probably just toss them in the trash in the bottom right corner of your inventory or sell them to the NPC.

Why is my character not showing up on the leaderboards?

The answer is simple, albeit consistent and unwavering. If your character is absent from the leaderboards, it’s because you’ve engaged in cheating. As a result, you’ve been banned from participating in the leaderboard rankings. While you can continue playing the game as you wish, cheating, hacking, exploiting, or abusing game mechanics will exclude you from competitive aspects.

Why? At Crater Studios, we hate cheaters. Our aversion to cheating and hacking stems from our decades-long history as gamers and video game enthusiasts. While cheating may seem amusing momentarily (which it isn’t), it ultimately detracts from the gaming experience. Particularly in games with online components or competitive modes, cheating undermines the integrity of the gameplay, rendering accomplishments meaningless. Moreover, it unfairly disrupts other players’ experiences, making it an inconsiderate act.

Who do we consider cheaters? Cheating manifests in various forms, ranging from blatant exploitation of cheat engines to exploiting overlooked game mechanics. If you suspect that your actions may provide an unfair advantage, we encourage you to report them. Whether publicly through bug reports or privately to ElBebo or CraterMan, reporting potential exploits helps maintain a fair gaming environment.

Is there a justification for cheating? Psychologically, the topic of cheating is intriguing. While it universally undermines the game for all players, some individuals rationalize their cheating behavior. For instance, they may perceive themselves as modern-day Robin Hoods, justified by claiming systemic flaws or developer oversights. However, regardless of perceived justifications, cheating ultimately tarnishes the gaming experience for everyone involved.

It’s crucial to emphasize that cheating is unequivocally unacceptable. Whether in Dwarven Realms or any other game, cheating is not amusing, heroic, or justified—it’s simply pathetic. At Crater Studios, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward cheaters and will enforce consequences rigorously. Additionally, the only instances of unbanning cheaters have occurred when individuals acknowledged their wrongdoing, took responsibility, and sincerely apologized. If you’re considering contacting the developers for an unban, I urge you to reflect on this message carefully and consider the appropriate approach.
