Fortress Saga: AFK RPG – Quick Guide to Luna

Understanding Luna Guide

By Kaiton.

Luna is a must have support banner who’s best in slot everywhere.

TLDR

  • Best boss team now is mael, violet, gildong, ruin, meph, luna with max abyssal const and violet’s affinity
  • If weak meph/violet, use: ungula, mael, violet, gildong/valentine, ruin, luna.
  • Luna’s really good in conquest battle (manually spam her skill). Use Iris to give her ATK.

Her active extra dmg taken debuff stacks additively with ruin’s and mael’s passive. Her ex boosts this to +150% (2.5x). When used together with mael and ruin, due to additive effects, Luna’s active debuff actually gives an extra 28% only (1.28x).

Her passive is fixed type like valentine. Using meph+luna > valentine (4x vs. 3x = 1.33x).

This means total dmg gain from replacing valentine with Luna when meph, mael, violet, and ruin are on the team is 1.28×1.33=1.7x gain. The dmg gain of using only luna is 1.28×2.5/3=1.07x of valentine, basically equal to using valentine, but with the cc ability to make farming pre-boss easier.

If you have weak mael/violet/meph, use valentine instead of meph.

  • Her dmg reduction stacks additively with flaming cannon engine. This means a whopping total of 70% dmg reduction with purple engine, 80% with leg engine. Tanking black hole raid boss and grave yard is easy now. Tanking stage/phase boss is still impossible.
  • Her active can fear mobs, allowing you to farm stacks pre-boss easier than ever before. She can even protect and allow lan hua to farm stacks pre-boss
  • Her skill has 2.4s cd only and is aoe whole screen, making her potentially good in farming as a third dps but I won’t be using her in farming due to lack of rune slots. She could potentially be good for conquest battle in OW.
  • Do se dormants as usual and gear her ATK for bossing, gold for farming.
  • She’s useful from 2* and leveling her up further is only for her hero effect.
  • New arena best comp is mael, zelos, soba, valentine, mephisto, luna.
