Understanding Mephisto Guide

Mephisto is a support banner hero.

TLDR

• If you can get abyssal const and violet’s affinity, best boss team is now: mael, violet, gildong, ruin, meph, luna
• With Luna, mephisto is now best in slot for players who have very strong mael and violet relative to dps (same trans and level with very good ATK runes)
• He is best in boss raid that summons mobs (use Lilith to charm first then cast meph to utilize mobs’ ATK against the boss)
• He is also best in waves and dungeons with mobs where you can use Lilith to charm first then cast meph

Active Skill:

Mephisto’s active skill sacrifices frontline units except the first slot hero to add to his own ATK. This includes summons. Note that the units need to be killed for him to gain ATK.

Where’s He Useful?

• Mephisto is technically usable at even just 2* because the sacrifices units’ ATK dwarfs Mephisto’s own ATK anyway, so gear Mephisto with BDMG gears (but roll rune stats with 600% se) as it’s generally more lacking than se due to se dormants. He synergizes well with Mael and Violet because he sacrifices those summons.
• He’s basically must have for trans 18, 19, 20 as he allows ungula to survive to deal more dmg compared to one shot.
• He’s best at merfolk dungeon and raid boss that summons mobs. Use Lilith to charm the mobs, then buff with gildong/ruin, then cast mephisto. This uses the boss’s mobs’ ATK against the boss itself.
