Antiquity Tree Challenge Guide
What are Tree Antiquity and what is the challenge?
Tree Antiquity are alliance challenges that are available whenever your alliance territory has covered or has the tree in its tower vicinity. It has different stages and gives nice rewards upon completing it. Every antiquity has a time duration for how along it will last however so you will have too complete all the tasks to obtain the rewards and gain points.
I can’t join the challenge! Why?!
If you recently just joined the alliance, you will have to wait 24 hours in that alliance before you are able to do this challenge. This also applies to majority of the alliance event,quest/challenge.
How do we start the Antiquity challenge?
There are three requirements before you are enabled to begin or start the challenge. This requirements are as follows:
- You must be an R4 or R5 in your alliance to start this challenge.
- You must have 2-3 antiquity keys to start the challenge.
- Your alliance territory must be extended or covering the Antiquity Tree for you to be able to start it.
Once all the requirements are fulfilled, the challenge can begin.
How Do I Obtain Antiquity Keys?
Simple. Every time you successfully purge an alliance mine. (The mines are the ones with an unmelted floating above it). You obtain an antiquity.
- For every alliance mine you successfully claim/purge, you gain one key. Doing multiple gives more keys.
There are two antiquities with two levels, what are the differences?
At the beginning of a new Kingdom (KD), the antiquities available will be level 1 antiquities. As the Kingdom gets older and the fogs slowly disappear, higher level antiquities begin to surface.
After the pass, level 3 antiquities are available. Once you get closer to Avalon. Level 4 and 5 antiquities become available.
Each antiquity level are more difficult and the way to do it changes. The amount of antiquity keys required also changes.
- Level 1 uses one or two antiquity key. While level 3 uses 3 antiquity keys.
Brief Detail on All Levels
Level 1 and 2 Antiquity
Level 1 and 2 antiquity has two phases. Attacking the minions then attacking the antiquity tree itself.
After attacking a certain amount of monsters, the shield for the tree breaks which allows you to finally rally and attack the main tree to clear it of the unmelted.
Level 3
Though similar to level 1 and 2 antiquity, it now has four additional places to attack. So the phases have now changed from two and now three.
After attacking the monsters, you will now have to attack the four points that have spawned before the shield is gone and you can attack the tree.
Level 4 and 5
Again very similar to 1,2 and level 3 antiquity tree. However, this one now comes with the addition of defending your alliance towers and fortress.
This still has 3 phases. However, in the first phase where you are tasked to take out monsters that have spawned, you will also have to defend your fortress and selected towers that the enemy will attack.
Aside from that, the following phases that happens next is the same as level 3 antiquity trees.
Are the rewards different from the lower level antiquity
Yes very much so. The higher the antiquity, the better the rewards. Also note, antiquities is one of the few places to gather ingots to make your farming gear.
Note: You get Harvest ingot from the lower level antiquity which are level 1-3 antiquity while prosperity ingot are obtained from the higher level antiquity which are level 4-5 antiquity trees.
How do I get more points?
The more you attack the monsters, the more points you get. For every level antiquity, there is a required amount of points to get if you wish to obtain all the rewards. The higher the level antiquity, the more points you have to gain.
Every level antiquity gives a certain amount of points for monsters killed. For example, level 1 gives 1000 points per monsters killed.
- Level 4 and 5 give 100000 points per monsters killed.
Another way to gain points is by rallying at the final phase which is attacking the tree after the shield is broken.
If you want everyone to get a good amount of points, I suggest talking it out with your leaders and members on the amount of troops to send.
Another way to gain points though only applicable to the higher level antiquities is by attacking the four enemy buildings that spawn from level 2-5 antiquity trees. And also protecting your fortress and towers in level 4-5 antiquity trees.
Can I use buffs for this alliance challenge?
Yes you can. Attack, defence and March capacity works on this antiquity challenge as well as relics and such.
The Timer ran out, will we be unable to do the event again?
No, not at all! You will be able to do the event again provided you have the requirements fulfilled and more keys to start the event. So don’t worry about failing it. You can always do it again and again.
My stronghold was attacked when I was offline and the challenge was on-going. Why?
Your base will still be attacked because this are AI generated monsters. As you should know, [If you don’t, now you know], Your shield works against other players which prevents them from attacking you. However, it doesn’t work if the enemy is made by computer. They will basically see your shield and walk right in and attack your base.
IF an antiquity has already been claimed by another alliance then we claim it, do we have to do the challenge again and get the rewards?
Unfortunately no. If the antiquity you just got into your territory via building a tower towards it, has been completed by another alliance already, you only gain it like a decorative in your territory. No rewards are given and no challenge is required.
The antiquities are a first claim reward challenge.
- Unclaimed or not challenged antiquity trees are the frozen trees like the first image above. Claimed ones are brighter and filled with life with red leaves.
Note, as the antiquity level increases, the difficulty gets harder and will require stronger troops, dragon, e.t.c.
