Gold Event: Kingdom Raid Guide for Beginners

Gold event is an event that runs for a span of 7 days(for newer kingdoms) and 5 days(for older kingdoms) with fun and exciting things to do to earn rewards. It involves the whole kingdom to participate and at the end you raid off against matched kingdoms.

Different Gold Events

Why is gold event in my kingdom different from other kingdoms?

There are two versions of the gold event in a kingdom. The first version, the Gold Event, takes place when the kingdom is new, before the battle for Avalon opens up. This gold event is a competition within the kingdom itself.

The second version, the Gold Event – Kingdom Raid, opens up when Avalon is opened, and is a competition between 4 kingdoms.

What is the order for Gold event?

In older solar kingdoms (10001-10079):

• Gather (1 day), Upgrade/Research (1 day), Monster (1 day), Troop Training (1 day), Kill event (3 days)

In middle (10080-10270) and new solar kingdoms (10271 and newer):

• The gold event has 7 stages, and the order of the stages is not constant and not predictable. The same stage can be repeated in the same event, and not all stages will necessarily be in every event.

The stages for Gold Event:

• Draconic Offerings – use primal or silver scales
• Gemstone Improvement – use crystalized gem
• Equipment Improvement – use meteorite
• Hero Improvement – use hero fragments
• Hero Weapons Improvement – use tears of ascension
• Emblem improvement – use emblem essence
• Upgrade stage – upgrade buildings and research
• Troop training – points for every 6th troop trained
• Territorial expansion – kill enemy troops and demolish towers

Some of the stages will also have the added option of gaining points by one of the following:

• Kill Monsters
• Gather Resources

This list is not exhaustive and is based on mod observations

How many Gold event before Gold event-Kingdom Raid?

• Gold Event – Kingdom Raid starts when the Avalon opens up and the kingdom can do the Battle for Excalibur. There have not been observed a set number of events, but a guess of 3-4 gold events should occur before Avalon opens and the battle for it begins.

Once Avalon has been captured however, Gold event should have been gone completely and replaced with Gold Event- Kingdom Raid.

What are Raid Chest Fragments and Raid Chests.

Raid Chest Fragments can be used to create Raid Chests. These chests give you additional items for fighting other Lords during the Raid Stage.

Example:

• Raid Teleport,
• Resurrection coins,
• E.t.c.

Once released, they must be augmented by Alliance members to get better rewards. Augmenting the chest gives rewards as well so it is worth augmenting.

Note: Once released, your alliance only has 30 minutes to fully augment the chest.

What is Raid Mastery?

• Raid Mastery are skills used during Raid to aid your alliance in the fighting. You can find them under the Raid Stage menu of the event.
• Raid Mastery skills can be used by an R4/R5 to find enemies, teleport freeze, or attack with a Devastating Strike spell.

How can I get more Raid Coins?

Raid Coins are earned by completing Gold Event tasks/goals. The better your Alliance performs, the more Raid Coins you’ll get. Make sure to get as many of your Alliance’s members completing Gold Event tasks/goals as possible to get the most Raid Coins possible. Be sure to Augment your Raid Chests, as well!

What do I do with Raid Coins?

• Raid Coins can be spent in the Raid Shop by R4/R5 to buy items to benefit you in Kingdom Raid – Raid Stage.
• R4/R5 may then assign communal Raid items to members of the Alliance.

Items that can be bought are alliance teleports, resurrection coins, march speed, e.t.c.

• You will get a mail upon receiving the item an R4/R5 has given to you.

What happens if I’m hit in another kingdom?

• If you’re hit in another kingdom and win the defence, nothing happens! You will be fine with a few troops injured (if you are that powerful) or a good amount of troops injured (if you are growing in power).
• If you get hit and lose, you are returned to your own kingdom. Your troops will go to the Border Hospital (Wounded / Losses section). You can heal the Wounded section for free (waiting time) or for Gold (immediately). Losses can be resurrected via Raid Shop by the R4/R5 buying Resurrection Coins and them being allocated to you by said R4/R5.

What happens to my troops?

• Wounded troops go to your Border Hospital in the “Wounded” tab. Once that’s full, they go to the “Losses” tab, just like in your city once your hospital is full wounded start going to Sanctum. (Border Hospital has a boosted hospital capacity compared to your regular hospital).

Note: 10% of killed troops (“Losses” on battle report) are truly gone/dead. The rest will go to Border Hospital “Losses” tab. They will be resurrected upon Kingdom Raid ending, or you can use Resurrection Coins to bring them back immediately.

What happens if I attack someone from my kingdom during Raid? Or vice versa?

• It is treated like any normal attack inside your KD. Any troops killed won’t count towards Raid points, and any troops wounded/killed will not go to the border hospital. They go to your normal hospitals and all wounded/losses react like normal.

What is the schedule of the Kingdom Raid Gold Event event week?

• Monday: Spire stage
• Tuesday: Building / Research stage
• Wednesday: Monsters / Barbs stage
• Thursday: Training stage
• Friday: Training stage
• Saturday: Raid stage
• Post-Raid: Claim / Give away resources

As your kingdom grows older, the raid stage slowly begins to change as well with “Monsters/barbs stage” being completely gone. And now reducing to just 5 days of the Gold event;Kingdom raid.

Why am I using Gold to Teleport… I have Raid Teleports? / My teleports aren’t working why not?

• Raid Teleports are used to Teleport into the other kingdoms in Raid. After that it defaults to Advanced Ports / Gold. Keep in mind when using Raid Teleports it takes multiple in order to teleport in. Starting at 2, then going to 3, then staying at 4 after that. If you do not have enough, it will use gold instead starting from 2000 and slowly rising on the next teleport.

Can my RSS be taken / plundered? Can I take / plunder from others?

• Yes – unlike in KvK, RSS can be taken / plundered. There are functions in the event specifically built for this – like the “Raid Redoubt”.
• RSS you plunder from other KD’s players goes into the “Raid Redoubt”. You can allocate RSS to your alliance members after Kingdom Raid ends (as long as they got some of their resources plundered) and “claim” the rest for yourself. Whenever you hit “claim”, you take what’s in the Raid Redoubt – so doing it before allocating any to others in your alliance will give you everything you plundered. It will go into your open rss.

Note; If you’re hit, resources in your Raid Redoubt will be taken first, before the resources that are open in your stronghold.

What happens if I hit people in another kingdom?

• If you win, you get RSS like normal, and can keep raiding! It’ll also add a 2 minute cooldown per attack, until you max out at 30 minutes. (30 minute cooldown for shield is the most that there can be).

What is the requirement to join/participate in Kingdom Raid?

• The only requirement is to have the Raid Event activate on your Kingdom. You’re free to do whatever you want during this event no matter what SH level.
