Frost & Flame: King of Avalon – Quick Guide to Kingdom Relics (Lunar)

Kingdom Relics Guide

How can I obtain a Relic?

The way Relics are obtained the first time is shown on the Relic Map in your city:

  • Blade of Deliverance: Auction House
  • Hammer of Time: First lord reach to Lord level 40
  • Guardian Scepter: First Lord raise their Dragon to level 40
  • Assault Scepter: Auction House
  • Cloak of Secrecy: rally against Barbarians Camps
  • Storage Shield: Monsters

After the first time, Relics that are reset (Either been off the map too long, player was banned, migration, etc) are placed into random Monsters/Barbs.

How can I lose a Relic?

Any time a Relic Holder suffers a loss there is a random chance they will lose a Relic they hold. This can be on attack OR defense. Can be vs stronghold, tile, camp, while reinforcing an alliance member, etc. A rally can take a Relic from a Relic Holder as well.

You can also lose Relics if you’ve been off the map for too long (such as limbo).

Can I lose a Relic if It isn’t equipped?

Yes, it doesn’t matter if a Relic is equipped or not.

When a Relic is taken by a rally, who gets the Relic?

When a rally successfully takes a Relic from a player, any person in that rally could get the Relic.

How can I see where a Relic is on the map?

Use the Relic Map in the Tavern in front of your wall to see coordinates of the Relic Holder of each Relic.

How can I determine where a Relic is when coords are not showing on Relic Map?

If you see a red message saying “Not in Kingdom”, the Relic Holder’s stronghold is currently in another kingdom in an event such as KVK, Raid, Firelands, etc.

If you see no message, and no coords on relic map, the Relic Holder has been evicted or killed in your own kingdom’s forest.

Note that at the end of events in another kingdom, the “Not in Kingdom” message doesn’t disappear from relic list, but you can be sure that the player is in Limbo.

How long does the protected status on a Relic last?

When a relic is claimed for the first time, or if the relic is claimed from monster after a relic has been sent to the system, the bearer will get a protection on the relic for 3 days. During this time, the Lord can be attacked, but there is no way the Relic will be looted by another Lord.

Why does a castle show “protected” status but they have no relic?

There is a bug where some castles may show “Protected” status despite not having a relic. This is just a display glitch.

How do we get the relics back after kingdom merge?

So far there have been three rounds of kingdom merges, this is how relics got distributed in round 2 and 3.

The Guardian Scepter and Assault Scepter were ranking rewards in an event. The first place for hitting a Stone Sentinel (Assault) and first place for troop training (Guardian). The remaining 4 relics were rewards by rank in a castle capture event. The R5 of the alliances distributed the relics.

  • Cloak of Secrecy
  • Blade of Deliverance
  • Hammer of Time
  • Storage Shield

Temporary Relics

What are temporary relic?

A temporary relic is a time limited relic that can provide your castle with additional benefits.

How do I get them?

They can be purchased for gold in the Temporary Relic Store. This can be accessed from the Temporary relic slot on your profile. Some temporary relics can also be rewards in events.

Can I save them for later?

No, the countdown on the temporary relics starts as soon as you get them, regardless of them being equipped or not.

Can I have more than one temporary relic at once?

You can have them in your temporary relics storage, but only one can be equipped at once, and only the equipped one have active benefits. You do not have to wait for a relic to expire to purchase and equip another one.

Souvenir Relics

What is a souvenir relic?

A souvenir relic is a replacement relic for a kingdom relic that gets recalled by the game when kingdoms merge, and is given to the relic holders at the time of the merge alongside other items in compensation for the loss.

Does a souvenir relic work the same as a kingdom relic?

The souvenir is equipped in the temporary relic slot. It looks the same as the kingdom relic. The souvenirs do not show on the relic map. They have half of the benefits of the original, but not the special property. For example, the Blade of Deliverance Souvenir give 5% march speed, but no free teleports.

Can I lose or pass on a souvenir relic?

No, the souvenir relic can only remain with the player that received it. It cannot be won, given away or lost.

Can I have a souvenir relic and a kingdom relic of the same type equipped at the same time? Does the benefits stack?

Yes, as they go in different slots, you can equip both at the same time and get benefits from both.

Royal Relics

What are royal relics, and how can we get them?

Royal relics are rewards in the Brave Wins event. Each of the 4 Avalons have a relic that can be obtained this way.

Are the Royal relics permanent or temporary?

The relics are time-limited, but are equipped in the permanent relic slot.
