Where can I enter the Skyloft Garden?

You can enter the garden from the flying gull to the right of the Dragonwing Roost.

What can I put into my garden?

Your garden comes pre equipped with a set of basic items, like paths, walls, grass, roads and other decorative elements. These items have no aesthetic value and does not add to your stats.

You can also place advanced items in your gardens. These can be gained through game play, events and purchases. These buildings add to your stats and aesthetic value of your garden.

What is the aesthetic value? Do I need to spend hours making my garden look nice to increase the value?

The aesthetic value is calculated from advanced buildings, each building has a value and your gardens aesthetic value is the sum of the advanced buildings you have placed in your garden. the placement of the buildings have no effect on this. The ranking of the players gardens is based on aesthetic value.

Can I place more than one advanced building of the same type in the garden?

Buildings that are not part of a set can be place more than once, but only the highest level building will count towards your stats. You cannot increase stats by having multiple of the same building. Buildings that are a part of a set can not be placed more than once.

How many levels can the buildings have?

There are currently two types of buildings, one have max level 30, the other have max level 100. The upgrade requirements are different for the two types of buildings.

Will I keep the stats of the seasonal buildings if I put them in storage when the season is over?

No, only buildings placed in your garden count towards your stats, if you remove them, you will lose the satats til you place them back in the garden.

How can I upgrade the buildings in a combined set?

To upgrade them, you retrieve the set, upgrade the buildings and then you can combine the set again.

Do I have to combine the set?

You can leave the buildings separate if you wish, but combining a set gives additional stat benefits.

How can I upgrade my buildings? What items do I need?

To upgrade a building you need one or more of the same building.

Upgrade Requirements for Level 30 Buildings:

Amount of buildings required to upgrade:

  • Levels 2-3: 1 building per level
  • Levels 4-6: 2 buildings per level
  • Levels 7-8: 3 buildings per level
  • Levels 9-10: 4 buildings per level
  • Levels 11-13: 5 buildings per level
  • Levels 14-20: 6 buildings per level
  • Levels 21- 30: 8 buildings per level

Upgrade Requirements for Level 100 Buildings

Amount of buildings required to upgrade:

  • Levels 2-4: 1 building per level
  • Levels 5-10: 2 buildings per level
  • Levels 11-15: 3 buildings per level
  • Levels 16-20: 4 buildings per level
  • Levels 21-25: 5 buildings per level
  • Levels 26-30: 7 buildings per level
  • Levels 31-35: 8 buildings per level
  • Levels 36-40: 10 buildings per level
  • Levels 41-45: 12 buildings per level
  • Levels 46-50: 14 buildings per level
  • Levels 51-55: 16 buildings per level
  • Levels 56-60: 18 buildings per level
  • Levels 61-65: 20 buildings per level
