How to Set Launch Options

• Open Steam and go to your Library.
• Find God of War: Ragnarok in your game list.
• Click the right mouse button on the game’s name.
• Choose “Properties” from the menu that appears.
• Look for the launch options box at the bottom of the “General” tab.

Type this exactly:

SteamDeck=1 %command%

• Close the properties window and start the game.

More Things to Know

When you start the game, your web browser will open. You need to connect your PlayStation Network account to your Steam account to play. Log in to your PlayStation account, then close the browser. The game will continue loading.

Before you start playing, you might want to wait for the game to finish preparing some files. You can see how much is done in the bottom right corner of the main menu.

If you’re using the compatibility settings: Don’t change the Proton version too often, or at all if possible. If you do, the game might think you’re trying to install it on too many computers and stop you from playing.
