Grand Fantasia: ORIGIN – Sprite Protection Guide

Sprite Protection

To activate this you need to do the L10: Guardianship of the Sprite Companion quest, given automatically. For advanced interface you also need Advanced Sprite Protection Program item/buff.

From 9/25 (Wed) after maintenance to 10/2 (Wed) before maintenance, after reaching level 10, you can claim the “Advanced Sprite Protection Program” from the Daily Training (button on the left next to the mini map). Using it will unlock 7 days of advanced usage qualifications.

“Movement Setting” and “Combat Settings” have a daily usage limit of 4 hours. After clicking “Activate Guardianship,” if any function of the two settings is selected, the countdown will begin. Once the countdown ends, the functions of both settings will stop, and the time will reset at 6 AM the next day.

Advanced Interface Explanation

This interface includes “Recovery Setting,” “Movement Settings,” and “Combat Settings” for use.

Recovery Setting: Players can set the method and timing for recovery.

  • Sit Down Recovery – After the battle ends, if HP falls below the set percentage, the character will sit down on the spot to recover until HP is fully restored.
  • Quick Recovery – After checking and setting the percentage, when HP or MP falls below the set percentage, the character will use the designated item for recovery.

Movement Settings: Players can use this feature for auto movement, auto monster search for combat, or uncheck it to manually move the character.

  • Auto Movement – After checking, the character will move automatically. If the combat settings are also checked, the character will automatically attack monsters. You can set how far to move each time. Only one option among near, medium, or far can be selected.
  • Auto Avoid – After checking, the character will avoid monsters that meet the set conditions during auto movement. You can set the types of monsters to avoid. Multiple options can be selected.

Sprite Interface Explanation

This interface allows the use of “Sprite Setting” and “Item Setting.” Please adjust the item placement method to suit your character.

Sprite Setting: Players can automatically use items based on the status of each individual sprite.

  • Sprite Mood – When the mood of the first sprite drops to a certain level, items will be used on it. If the mood of the first sprite remains “Happy” or “Joyful,” additional experience points will be gained.
  • Sprite Stamina – When the stamina of each sprite drops to a certain level, items will be used on them.
  • Sprite Selection – You can choose which sprites to use the above items on. Sprite 1 represents the first sprite, and the order follows from left to right. Multiple sprites can be selected.
  • Auto-Summon – You can choose which sprite to summon. If the sprite you wish to summon is engaged in other tasks or has poor mood or stamina, it will not be summoned.
  • Auto-Mount – When checked, upon guidance or clicking the radar map, a random mount from the set ones will be used. After combat, once out of battle for a period, the mount will also be automatically used.

Item Setting: Players can automatically repair equipment based on the settings. They can also automatically sell, discard, or store picked-up items.

  • Equipment Repair – When the durability or the durability limit of the equipment worn drops below a certain level, the set item will be automatically used for repairs.
  • Drop Handling – Picked-up drops can be handled differently based on their quality. “Auto-Discard” will directly discard the item, “Auto-Sell” will sell it directly to the store for money, and “Auto-Store” will store it in the bank until the slots are full.

Others Interface Explanation

This interface includes “Town-Return Settings,” “Death Settings,” and “Assistance Settings” for use. Please adjust the item placement method to suit your character.

Town-Return Settings: Players can return to a designated point in a specified way when certain conditions are met, based on the settings.

  • Conditions Achieved – When specific conditions are met, “Return on Achievement” will be executed. Multiple conditions can be selected, and the execution priority is from top to bottom.
    • Return on Achievement – You can choose to reach the designated location via AutoRoute or by using a Transporter Stone, or by using an item or skill that transmits to a specific location.
    • Location Selection – The Safe Point is the Soul Preservation Crystal closest to your current location on the map. The Save Point is the location where you manually performed soul preservation.

Of course, you can also directly return to the Soul Preservation Crystal in one of the three main towns.

Note: If you choose to use a Transporter Stone but do not have one in your inventory, or if the set item or skill cannot be used, AutoRoute will automatically guide you to the Safe Point.

Death Settings: Players can choose the method of resurrection upon death based on the settings.

  • Item Resurrection – Use a Clover item to complete the resurrection.
    • Direct Resurrection – Resurrect at the Soul Preservation location.

Assistance Settings: Players can set up skills to restore or provide buffs to teammates based on the settings.

  • Restoration Skills – When detecting a teammate with HP below a certain level, use a restoration skill on them.
    • Buff Skills – When detecting that a teammate lacks a specific status, cast the corresponding buff skill on them.

Note: This function only works when in a party, and you are not the party leader. When active, you will continuously follow the party leader and cast skills on nearby teammates. Teammates who are too far away will not be targeted.
