Guide to General

How to Play the Game

  1. Set an alarm every 2:30 hours.
  2. Open to do a full side mission.
  3. Daily buy everything gold from shop.
  4. Play arena JUST enough to stay in top 100, doesn’t matter if you dont exhaust arena passes.
  5. Always do dungeons, even if the easy ones (right now you can steamroll the event dungeon for free tomes.
    • You can set an automatic clicker on pc or touch mapping for android to do long dungeons while afk.
  6. Doing story mode is cool, but to be honest, unless you can steamroll the missions I don’t recommend wasting energy on those but on side missions.

And most importantly, always remember you play for numbers to go up, never to have fun, since this in fact, a gacha game.

Additional info

For the first few days/week completing the other areas give you also materials that will help upgrade your buildings to make your heroes better. It can be your initial place to grind other than dungeons to level your early heroes. Act 2 can be a curve to newbies you will see some newbies saying they are having difficulty in chat and showed that their heroes are underleveled.

Weapon Types

I’ve noticed some consistent mechanics with certain kinds of weapons.

  • Melee: Range 1. Nothing surprising.
  • Bows: Range 2-4. Adjacent enemies don’t stop them from attacking other enemies within range. Ignores cover.
  • Thrown: Range 1-4. Ignores cover.
  • Guns: Range 1-4. Can’t attack diagonally. Some abilities have shorter range. Blocked by tall obstacles.
  • Magic: Range 1-3. Ignores cover.

For the kill 10 cultists guide

Going to post an actual step by step screen on where it is, cause some people are using different languages.

I will literally handhold you and give you where the cultist are. This is beginner friendly in act 1 and find the area “Northern Highlands” and the mission named “Six Saints” beside the blademaster you are going to find two cultist there.

Kill them before the blademaster or it doesn’t count, do it 5 times and you’ll complete killing 10 cultists.

How to change subclass?

Go to your character info page, on the right botto you see a button, click on it (only if your hero is lvl 20 or above). If you want your hero to have a subclass you first have to discover the class by recruiting a hero of that subclass, then you have to switch both active and passive abilities of the hero to that of the subclasses you want.

Note: Just click on the skill to swap them. No need to respec.

Can I reset heroes?

You can respec.

Crimson marks are obtained in a specific dungeon or collecting it from the dungeon chest which gives 3.

If you put enough time and effort in collecting dungeon keys you can obtain it in the chest 3 pieces per month, and once you’re strong enough you can farm it in a dungeon 1 piece every time you finish it

Is there a way to get back the Essences used to upgrade a Hero’s equipment?

When you retire them yes.

Dismantle Chaos chars, Chaos dungeon, some campaign nodes and campaign hard rewards.

How do I transfer insight I used from some low tier heroes to new heroes?

Don’t worry; it comes easily enough. Just fight some battles and collect it daily from your barracks (heroes building). You won’t miss what got spent earlier.

What aspirant mean?

It means you have the freedom to choose a path for your hero. Means they are aspiring to have a subclass but not there yet. You will need to spend a Crimson Mark for sure to choose a subclass.

Misc. Tips

  • Heals, debuff removals, and buffs are for matches reaching 4-6 rounds that’s why they must be on tempo.
  • Purify skills like priestess removes control effects like benighted, stun, pin, charmed since these debuffs can mess aggro players especially in arena.
  • Support heroes are tempo but not all since enchantess is aggro despite being support class.
