How to Prepare for Abyss the Restless Dungeon

By nghia

Team Preparation

  • Your team should have a total strength of at least 15k or more.
  • Prioritize upgrading armor for support (SP) and tank heroes.
  • Choose a team with healing or shield buffs, crowd control (CC), and ideally 3 alignments: Might, Order, and Chaos. At the very least, include 2 alignments.

Saving Hand of Glory

  • You can buy Hand of Glory with gold in the shop.
  • Focus on upgrading armor since damage can be increased through this item.
  • Losing torches due to low armor level is a huge waste.

Recommended Heroes

  • Tank and CC: Barbarian (can provoke 2 enemies each round).
  • Support: Priestess Exorcist.
  • AOE Damage Dealers: Merc Renegade or other heroes with aoe damage.
  • Boss Killers (Round 1): Enchantress Soul Keeper or Blademaster Swiftblade to eliminate tough bosses quickly.

Smart Movement

  • Protect your SP to prevent them from being taken down early.
  • Heroes from the Might alignment generally have higher HP than those from Order or Chaos.
  • Utilize critical damage from heroes like Gunslinger. Retreat and restart until you gain an advantage from his critical damage.

Dealing with Bosses

  • Chamber 16 has a more challenging boss compared to Chamber 25, as in Chamber 25, you can afford to lose a few heroes as long as you win without needing torches to revive.
  • Notable tough bosses: Barbarian, Gunslinger, Merc, Enchantress. Barbarian, in particular, becomes dangerous in prolonged battles.

Chamber-specific Strategies

  • Pay attention to chambers with 8 enemies or those with a boss.
  • If the enemies are Chaos: Take down SP and Assault first.
  • If the enemies are Might: Eliminate Assault in Round 1, then SP in Round 2.
  • If the enemies are Order: Focus on Assault first.
