Gunsmith Simulator – Beginners Guide

Basic Guide for Noobs

By GralgarTheWolf.

Basic

In this game, you work as a gunsmith. Your computer is very important.

On it, you can:

  • Check your mailbox for new messages about the story and game progress. It’s best to complete all these tasks before working on guns.
  • Look at the job board for work you can do for money. When you finish a job, you return the weapon to the customer.
  • Buy parts to maintain guns.
  • Use an auction to buy guns for yourself once you have enough money.

Important Notes:

Doing more jobs on the same type of weapon increases your skill with that weapon. You can see your progress on a board next to the computer. Higher skill gives you benefits like faster disassembly and reassembly, and special challenges.

You can take multiple jobs at the same time if you want to improve your skills with certain weapons.

You start with an assembly table and cleaning table. As you progress, you’ll unlock other tables and stations. These will let you modify or change the color of weapons as you wish.

Your Car and Its Purpose

You have a car in the game. It’s not very fancy, but it works. The car becomes useful as you progress in the game. You use it to go to different places.

After completing some progression quests, you can drive to a shooting range. At the range, you can test the guns you’ve worked on. At first, you’ll only test regular guns. Later, you’ll unlock a special range for grenade launchers.

The car also takes you to CQB (Close Quarters Battle) training areas. In these areas, you can use guns to complete in-game challenges and earn achievements. All these features become available as you play through the game and finish progression quests.

Photo Room and Secrets

There’s a dark space you might have noticed before. It looks like a small room for taking gun photos. These photos could be used for gun safe checks or online auctions. But something about this room seems odd.

There are books in the room. One is a guide for the game Resident Evil. It has information about playing as a different version of Leon Kennedy.

After looking at the book, the room suddenly seems bigger. There’s a staircase going down. Below is an empty fallout shelter. Since fallout shelters aren’t really used anymore, this space could be changed. It might become a place to show off weapons or a nice room for a gunsmith to rest.
