Hades 2 – Charon + Apollo Duos Build Guide for 32 Fear

Aspect of Charon – The Ion Cannon

The Charon aspect of the Moonstone Axe has some very powerful interactions with the Omega Cast duo boons Torrential Downpour and Glorious Disaster, and by utilizing Seer+Champions+Fates for 10 re-rolls and the Vow of Arrogance, we are going to construct a satelite that will destroy Chronos from the sky.

Notes: You can try to cut some stuff to fit Origination in but I find Moon more than covers the damage.

Axes are quite good at waveclear so I like lots of enemies. Charon is quite good at avoiding damage once you get good at its tech or get the right hammer, so I take Blood maxed.

Keepsakes

• Sheaf! Start Demeter and take Ice Strike or Tranquil gain and use your spin to win Erebus.
• God keepsakes to get Apollo and Zeus.

Note: You can cut Zeus for Hera for Born Gain it’s probably fine.

• But know that if you do this you’re a lame-o.
• If you have all 3 gods by Fields but you don’t have Sudden Cleaver, take Experimental Hammer.
• Do not take it in Oceanus.
• Tartarus: Silver Wheel if your Gain sucks (and oh baby it will).
• If your mana is somehow solid and you don’t have Sudden Cleaver, take Metallic Droplet in Tartarus.

Gameplay Tips

• In Ereebus, the Charon bomb combo overkills everything, so rely instead on your spin, using Charon to handle Hecate and the Sirens.
• Keep your distance – the cast lasts longer and activates from farther away than you think it does.
• Sudden Cleaver is the only good hammer for this build but ohhhhhh my god it cooks if you get it.
• Born Gain is insane for this build but it does cut your damage a lot.

Secret Axe Tech

Okay so the things you need to know about the axe. It is a deeply disturbed weapon and has weird tech you can learn.

The ones you should remember for this guide is:

• If you’re charging Omega Attack, you can dash to trigger it, positioning yourself properly.
• Also if you are charging Omega Special, during the animation of the special coming out.
• Tap or hold Attack and Dash and you can dash in a direction and change the direction of the Special.
• This is called the Dash Dunk or the Ananas Slammas.
