Gameplay Tips and Tricks for New Players
General Tips
- Make sure to use the focus cam to track the Quaffle or Snitch! The arrows around your character will also give you a good idea of where your teammates (blue) and opponents (red) are. When an opponent arrow glows, they are in tackling range, so look out! This can also be used to determine if you’re being aimed at by a Beater!
- You can test other people’s maxed Brooms by having them be the party leader for an Exhibition Match.
- You can pass backwards as a chaser, you should use rear camera. It is pretty rigid though, addition of swivel camera is a must.
Keeper Tips
If you notice that the Chasers are quite static types, heading straight towards a goal and only changing at the last minute, go towards them and charge the kick just right to hit them. If they are quite the dodgy types flying all around, try to bait them by guarding two goals so they go for the open one, and then move to the open one. It’s all in the timing, and boy, it’s hard. Keeper is the hardest of the three for sure.
The ability to use boost while moving as a keeper is amazing – I find it much more reliable than the standard switch hoops that you have by default.
Find a balance between agression and defense – If they’re taking wide shots using drift/holding the throw, find the inbetween angles. If they’re coming in close, kick them in the head. If they’re taking shots from super far out, dive the posts.

The Motions of Juggling a Bludger
In Simple Terms: Collect bludger>Fly Towards Surface>When you make contact with surface throw>Fly away from surface and catch immediately. This can be done off floor, walls, ceilings(imo not very consistent), and opponents(not consistent and extremely difficult due to many factors).
You can practice with your own bludger and use the technique with the opponents bludger. Doing this with the opponents bludger makes it impossible for the opponents to call for their bludger. They must tackle you or wait for you to get rid of the bludger.
Broom Stats Explained
Max Speed:
Higher score = Higher boosted top speed. Max speed does effect non boosted speed as well seemingly from my testing and just general flying.
Boost Efficiency:
Higher score = boost depletes more slowly when used/can boost for longer. Since there’s a different regen stat, I assume boost efficiency does not affect how soon boost starts to refill or how quickly it refills.
Acceleration:
How quickly you can go from 0 to top speed. I assume this applies getting to unboosted and boosted top speeds.
Max Health:
Probably the most self explanatory.
Health Regen:
Health regen is time to heal an HP. And each HP tick is half the time of the previous HP tick. So it gets really fast when you have a lot of HP to recover.
Stun Duration:
Higher score = you recover faster after being stunned.
Maneuver Speed:
Maneuver speed from my testing has an effect on your turning speed. However is seemingly negligible. The lowest maneuver speed broom is a circle that’s about the radius of the center circle in hogwarts pitch. Highest maneuver is maybe 2 meters shorter in diameter of a circle.
Drift Distance:
Higher score = you can drift for longer/farther. In other words, speed bleeds off more slowly when you drift.
Dodge Cooldown:
It takes less time to get your dodge back after using it.

Crashes and Storage Space
If you’re experiencing crashes and running low on storage space, follow these steps. Navigate to this folder:
C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\Local\Unbroken\Saved\Crashes
Clear the contents of this folder after submitting each crash.
This is important if you are low on storage because each crash generates approximately 6 GB of data. By regularly clearing this folder, you can prevent unnecessary storage buildup and potentially improve your system’s performance.
