Hero’s Adventure: Road to Passion – Guide to Passive Tree + Builds

Passive Tree Guide for New Players

Passive Tree Overview

General Passive Tree recommendations are:

Wind

  • All Actions point nodes (22 Points) (Center node plus the small nodes next to it), Middle last node for post turn healing.
  • Note: This tree is not needed if you have Action Speed from other sources.

Fire

  • First Node (and Bottom row for Mobs/Reflect enemies).
  • Note: This node is best when you are far stronger than the enemies you are fighting.

Mountain

  • First Node (Generalist) or Middle line for tank, Top Node for 1 hit protection.
  • Note: This node is best used generally or when you need to survive 1 hit for your Glass Cannon Build. The Armor Build-up Node requires you to get hit 5 times for the full 50% DR, and the Top Node will negate the first hit.

Forest

  • Bottom row for Tank.
  • Note: This node is best for Tanking. You will need to be next to the enemy to make use of it, but its a guaranteed 40% DR.

Yin

  • For Status Effect and Delay builds.
  • Note: This node is good for generalists. The Middle 1st Node will reduce the effects of Status Effects by 50%. The last Node has a 150 Delay effect for all attacks.

Thunder

  • Bottom row for Generalist/Crit damage.
  • Note: The Last Node is very strong if you are using a Str focused Build. At 50 Str, it can add around 300% more damage.

General Passive Tree Builds for Beginners

You don’t want to max out a Tree for the most part, only get what you need. You can always change the Tree on the MC at no cost:

  • A good Generalist build: Wind – Fire – Mountain – Thunder
  • A 2nd General Build with Delays: Wind – Fire/Thunder – Yin
  • For Fights you need to be tankier for: Wind – Mountain – Forest
  • For when using Delay or status effects: – Wind – Thunder – Yin
  • For full Glass cannon: Wind – Fire – Thunder

Once you know the game, you can stop using Wind and go: Fire, Forest, Mountain, Thunder/Yin. With a special mention to Wind -Last Node (WindWalker) for builds that use Lotus Gem or Nine Provinces.

It becomes less useful if you have another source of extra turn like God of Gambling, but its a nice chunk of healing since healing effects will activate twice per turn if you attack.

Important and Powerful Passive Tree Nodes

  • Wind – First (Head Start) and Center(Quick Step) (Small nodes around it).
  • Fire – First Node (Strong Arm) and when facing Mobs or enemies with Reflect: 2nd Bottom Node (Collateral Damage).
  • Mountain – First Node (Resilient), Middle Row 3rd Node (Armor Build-up).
  • Forest – 3rd Node on the Bottom (Damage Transfer).
  • Yin – Last Node (Deadly Strike).
  • Thunder – First (Power Build-up), 2nd Bottom Node (Mighty), and last Node (Calculated Strike).
