The Simplest Way to Join the 9 Factions

• Step 1: Beat the Bandit Camp.
• Step 2: None, you’re done, you got the choice to join them.

How to Join the DLC 2 Unique Faction (9 Factions Sect):

Beat the Bandit Camp within the first 4 Days of the game. It does not matter if you win or lose the 2nd fight.

There are multiple ways to learn the location of the bandit camp:

• Fight the bandits at Cross Hill during the day, then stop their attack on the Nameless Village, Follow after them into the Lost Forest. This method is new to the DLC.
• Become the Old Man’s Disciple and progress his training quests until he gives you a test to defeat them. If you take this route, you can revisit the Bandit Camp to ask the Beggar to join but he only waits for 1 day.
• Talk to Bao Dating in the Nameless Village and use the Chat option. He will randomly tell you things, including the Bandit Camp location. Keep chatting until he tells you.

Once you beat the Bandit Camp, the game will act as if you met the Monk even if you have not met any of them.

There are multiple events around the area, but they are all optional. You can skip them all and you’ll still get the choice to join the 9 Factions Sect

Seeing the events will give you a 1 time use pill or 2 that will help in defeating the Bandit Camp.

If you became the Old Man’s Disciple and then left him for the 9 Factions Sect , he will reappear later on and have a few story parts.

Note: At the start of the game, you can go straight to the Lost Forest, Get the Nameless Village location, learn the Bandit Camp location from Bao Dating, then beat the Bandit Camp and join the 9 Factions in the first day of the game (10 min if you rush it).
