Useful Tips for Woof Achievement

Woof Ending

• To get this ending, you need to complete the game on Punished Difficulty using 3 heals or fewer.
• The game starts with one heal used, so you really only have two heals available.
• In this difficulty mode, enemies do much more damage and can often defeat you in two hits.
• Puzzles are the same as in other difficulty levels.
• Enemies take the same amount of damage as usual.
• Keep one heal for the SEWERS and SUBWAY areas, as these are the most challenging parts of the run.
• After defeating enemies, you must burn them with the lighter or they will come back to life.
• Try to avoid close combat, as it’s risky and doesn’t do much damage.
• It’s a good idea to save your game often. If you get hurt, you can reload a save or an autosave.

Apartments

• You only need to defeat one enemy to progress, near the safe puzzle. You can run past other enemies.
• The safe code is 2052. You need chopsticks for the fuse puzzle.
• Collect as much health and ammo as possible.

The Stranger

• Ignoring the radio saves him, using the radio makes him jump.
• Your choice doesn’t affect the ending, so pick whichever you need for an achievement.

City Streets

• You can run past most enemies.
• Be careful of two dangerous dogs on the way to the park. Consider shooting them.
• Find the arrow quiver between houses 34 and 36.

Park

• Run past all enemies.
• Get the bow and combine it with the quiver.

Camcorder House

• Watch out for the strong ‘boss’ enemy.
• After the cutscene, go to the living room stairs and shoot the boss with your pistol.

Graveyard

• Solve the puzzle to open the way to the sewers.
• Get the shotgun from the church altar.

Sewers

• This is the hardest part. Try to arrive here without damage and with lots of ammo.
• There are 6 normal enemies and 1-2 big ones.
• Use the shotgun for big enemies and bow for normal ones.
• Be careful of enemies grouping up or sneaking up on you.
• If needed, use one heal item halfway through.

City Streets Part Two

• Keep running to the store.
• Shoot dogs to avoid trouble.

Store

• Small space with bad camera angles. Try shooting enemies off-screen.
• Be careful of the enemy in the back room.

City Streets Part Three

• Run through everything.
• Watch out for more dogs.
• Head straight to the subway.

Subway

• Last main combat area. Use your remaining ammo.
• Be careful in tight spaces and of enemies sneaking up.
• Use a heal item if you have one left.

Hive

• Follow the tracks to find the detonator.
• Play the boss fight normally.
• Crawl through the hole where you found the detonator.

Ending

• If you see a doghouse after crawling through the hole, you’ve achieved the Woof ending.
