IdleMMO – Guild Mechanics Guide

Quick Guide to Guild Mechanics

By Ikoalosaurus.

As of the time of writing, guild mechanics are limited to:

  • Participating in Raids.
  • Contributing to Guild Challenges.

Guilds have their own Level (1-100). Higher guild level unlocks:

  • Higher Member Capacity.
  • Additional Raids.
  • Daily Challenge Limit.

Aside from Guild Level which is global progress bar, impacted by actions and participation of all guild members, there is another progress bar for another skill called Guild Mastery, which is individual, meaning every member raises their own Guild Mastery by participating in raids and contributing to guild challenges.

Participating in Raids Rewards:

  • Gold
  • Combat Level Experience (It increases your Combat Level skill, which otherwise you can only increase by manually hunting and battling monsters)
  • Guild Mastery Experience (It increases your Guild Mastery skill, which you cannot increase in any other way)

As of the time of writing (27th of May 2024), Guild Mastery skill serves no purpose other than being another skill for raising your Total Level (Sum of all skill levels). Subject to change in future.

Contributing to Guild Challenges Rewards:

  • 1 Mark for the Guild (Only if the challenge is completed) – Currency used for scheduling raids
  • Guild Level Experience (Only if the challenge is completed)
  • Guild Mastery Experience (2 EXP per item donated. If a challenge requires 2000 Iron Ore and you donate 750 ore, you will get 1500 Guild Mastery XP)

Once all challenges expire after 24 hours, new Guild Challenges can be generated by Guild Leader. Challenges require random amount of random materials, but an average cost to fulfill a challenge is usually approximately 15k gold.

It’s extremely important to highlight that only FULLY COMPLETED challenges reward 1 Mark. If you donate 1999 Iron Ores out of 2000, and the challenge expires, Guild will not receive a mark nor guild level exp, but you will still get your individual guild mastery exp.

Guild Leader schedules the raids. Scheduling raids requires a currency called Marks. Higher level Raids require more Marks, but they also reward more Combat Level EXP and Guild Mastery EXP.

Once the raid is scheduled, guild marks are consumed and once the guild is completed there is a cooldown for each raid level which prevents scheduling another raid until the cooldown is over.

Long Story Short:

The only way for guild to be able to afford scheduling 1 or 2 raids every day is to have enough marks. Marks are earned only through completing guild challenges. The more active members guild has, the more challenges can be completed every day and more marks can be earned = more raids can be scheduled

Raid exclusive loot might get introduced with a future update, so more raids participated = higher the chance for exclusive loot + more combat xp and guild mastery XP earned.
