Rare / Special Weapons Explained
It’s another F.A.Q. question that needs to be explained.
Rare / Special labelled items are not required in order to keep up with the intended progression of the game. They only serve as a little boost if you’re lucky enough to get it, or as a goal to achieve for completionists.
The fact that some people got a lot of rares in 1-2 days shows that there’s way less farming than most “item farming” games with really low drop rates, with dungeon runs that take 45+ minutes to have 1% or less drop.
That’s why I think, for a 90 second – 120 second Dungeon, 1% is quite a lot (and farmable in less than 2 hours), which for someone who farms it just for the sake of having it shouldn’t be that much time compared to most games.
Still, I get the point that being an idle game kind of swaps things out and feels different than an active RPG. But that’s kind of the point of completionism – get rare items not everyone farms because their drop rates are lower than other items, just for the sake of having it.
