How to Obtain All Achievements
Humans Achievements
The Klowns Have Landed!
- Play your first match
Just stay the whole match even if you die or escape early, or it won’t count.
Hand of Fate
- Gift another player an item as a spectator
When you die or escape, you can play mini games that give you random items. Give the item to the player you’re spectating.
Dress to Impress
- Equip one unlockable cosmetic for your human
You unlock cosmetics by leveling up or doing challenges in the main menu. After playing some games, you should have some cosmetics. Try one of them.
Humanity Shall Thrive!
- Win 10 matches as a Human
Human victory means at least 4 out of 7 humans should escape that match to count as a human win for this.
The Lackeys are Lacking
- Kill 30 Lackeys
Lackeys are small klown minions that roam the map. More spawn as klowns hook cocoons on gens. If they spot you, they’ll try to latch onto you. Kill them with one hit using any weapon or firearm. Do this 30 times.
I’m Not Klownin’ Around!
- Kill your first klown
There are 3 klowns per match. To kill one, damage it enough with weapons until it’s downed. Then hit its nose to kill it. Do it fast because the klown can do a QTE and get back up if you’re too slow.
Boomstick Bamboozle
- Kill a Klown with a shotgun
Shotguns are random weapons that spawn around the map. Use it for the final blow on the klown’s nose, not just to down them. They usually need 2 headshots to be downed (except tank class), and one on the nose to be killed after.
Strike!
- Hit a Klown on the nose with a thrown baseball
This can be tricky because the nose has a small hitbox. Find a baseball, aim at the klown’s nose, and throw it. Klowns might dodge in quick matches. If you’re having trouble, do it in a private match with a friend.
Close Shave
- Escape the invasion as the Klownpocalypse explosion is expanding
Klownpocalypse starts if the match timer hits zero or if klowns hook 16 cocoons on all generators. When it expands, you have a few seconds to escape before all humans die. Escape while it’s expanding. You can combine this with the next achievement for the best chance.
A Sweet Escape
- Escape the map with the help of the Terenzi Brothers
The Terenzi brothers appear in a random spot in the last 30 seconds. You get a marker showing where they are. You have less than 30 seconds to reach them. Combine this with the previous achievement by waiting at the truck until the timer hits zero, then escaping to get both at once.
Not Your Normal Mixtape
- Find your first lore tape
Lore tapes are very rare collectibles in containers and searchable boxes. Keep searching every box you find and eventually the game will spawn one for you.
Escape Artist
- Escape invasions 25 Times
Escape the map 25 times. There are 4 escapes on each map (portal, tunnel/bridge, motorboat, portal machine) and the Terenzi brothers who appear in the last 30 seconds. Each needs specific items to unlock except the Terenzi brothers.
Cutting it Close
- Free another human from a cocoon that is hooked to a Lackey Generator
When klowns cocoon a human instead of killing them, they hook them on a lackey generator. The human has around 2 minutes before they die. Interact with their cocoon to save them before time runs out.
I’ve Got Your Back
- As a human, knock a Lackey off of another human
As of publishing this guide, lackeys don’t have a hitbox while on a human’s back. To get this achievement, kill the lackey when it’s stunned as the human gets it off their back. You only have a couple seconds to do it.
Ride or Die
- Escape with another human in the same boat
The motorboat is one of 4 escape methods. To activate it, you need gas and a spark plug. It fits up to 3 people. If you’re alone, try signaling another human with a flare or calling them with your microphone.
Drop the Bag-, er…Cocoon
- Shoot a Klown carrying a cocoon with a firearm
Use either the shotgun or revolver for this. Sometimes you’ll see a klown carrying a cocoon to hook it on a gen. Shoot them while they’re carrying it. Killing them isn’t required. Shooting them will make them drop the cocoon.
Selfless
- Open the portal and allow 3 humans to escape in the same match
The portal is one of the 4 escape methods, requiring 2 spark plugs. It fits 3 humans. To keep the portal open, one human needs to operate it or it will close. Be that person while letting 3 others escape. The tricky part is keeping 3 people next to you while doing it. You won’t be able to escape using the portal afterwards. Your sacrifice will be remembered.
Clutch Performance
- Be the last human alive and trigger the resurrection machine
The Resurrection machine appears randomly on the map. All dead humans (red skull next to their names) can be brought back using it. You need to do this while being the last human standing. The tricky part is that when there’s only one human left, a klown will always roam the machine knowing you might try to activate it.
Hi!…Bye!
- Escape the invasion after being resurrected
Unlike the previous achievement, you need to be dead and resurrected by another human, then escape using any method.
Quit Lyin’ Around!
- Free 3 humans from cocoons in a single match
Your cocooned teammates are shown as a purple marker. You also get a notification if they get hooked. Save 3 of them in the same match. Can be tricky but with some luck you’ll manage.
Sweet Release
- Escape from a cocoon twice in a single match
This can happen in two ways: your teammate saving you or escaping yourself by finding a knife and keeping it in your inventory. This needs to happen twice in the same match.
Easy In. Easy Out
- Escape a map in under 5 minutes
Luck-based but not impossible. You’ll either find the items you need yourself or find teammates who are getting things done and hop on with them. The match timer is 15 minutes, so you need to escape before it hits the 10-minute mark.
Like a Ghost in the Wind
- Escape the invasion without taking any damage and without getting cocooned
One of the harder achievements and very luck-dependent. It’s up to you how to tackle this, stealthy or speedrun. Just don’t get hit all match and escape.
Humanity’s Finest
- Get a “Perfect Human Victory”
The hardest achievement in the game in my opinion. All 7 humans need to escape the match. You either wait until destiny smiles and sends you teammates who know how to play or party up with 7 other players and do it in a private match.
Klowns Achievements
Karnival Chic
- Equip an unlocked cosmetic to your Klown
Cosmetics are unlocked by leveling up or doing challenges in the main menu. After playing some matches, customize your clown and you should get it.
Klowntastrophic
- Win 10 matches as a Klown
Winning as a klown requires your team to get at least 4 kills out of 7.
Round ’em Up
- Create 3 Human Cocoons in a single match
Use cocoon guns to turn humans into cocoons instead of killing them and hook them on gens. This gives more exp points and spawns lackeys. Do this 3 times in the same match.
Kill ’em With Klownness
- Trigger Klownpocalypse Early
To achieve this, hook 16 cocoons on generators. Empty cocoons spawn around the map in addition to cocooning humans. Do this before the timer reaches 1 minute.
Sweet Revenge
- Kill the human that previously popped your nose
This means killing the human that killed you. If you get killed, try to remember the human’s looks or name and hunt them down.
Thrill of the Kill
- Kill 100 humans
Everything works – klowntality, cocooning then dying from suffocation, or just hitting them on the ground until they die.
Savin’ em for Later
- Hook up 20 Cocoons to Lackey Generators
There are 4 generators on the map where you can hook cocoons. The game will show you all of them when you pick up a cocoon. Cocoons are scattered around the map or you can cocoon a human.
Klown Supreme
- Get a “Perfect Klown Victory”
To get this, kill all 7 humans in the match. This can be done in a private match solo against bots if you want. They usually roam around doing nothing and won’t give you trouble.
Peekaboo!
- Find a human in a hiding spot
Very situational in quick match. Hiding spots include dumpsters and big baskets. Easy to achieve in a private match with a friend, because bots don’t hide.
Killer Klown of Doom
- As a Klown, get a Victory without getting killed
Get a victory as a klown (killing at least 4 humans out of 7) and don’t die that match. Getting downed is okay, just don’t die.
Early Bird
- Be the first Klown to hook up a cocoon in the match
Relatively easy. As soon as you spawn, run to the first cocoon you see and hook it.
Tag Team
- Attack a human that is being grabbed by a lackey
Situational but not impossible. Sometimes when chasing a human, they’ll only worry about you and won’t see lackeys approaching. When one attaches to the human, go ahead and damage them.
Cocoon Hauler
- Fully upgrade a Lackey generator by yourself
The generator needs 4 cocoons to be fully upgraded. You need to be the one who hooks all 4 on the same gen.
Killer Klowntality
- Perform a Klowntality on a downed human
When you down a human, you’ll see a prompt to hold E for klowntality. Do this once to kill the human.
Sticky Protection
- Fully cover a Human escape interaction with cotton candy
Use your cocoon gun to cover human objectives with cotton candy to delay them. Cover one to 100% to earn this.
Nice Try!
- Kill or cocoon a human nearby an open escape
The exit has to be open when you get the down/kill.
Intruder
- Break down a locked door
Humans locking a door to keep you out is situational, but when it happens, use your weapon to break it down. If you’re having trouble, boost it in a private match with a friend.
Silica Slayer
- As a Klown, smash 30 windows
They mean the transparent windows humans can jump through. There are only a few on each map. Break every one you see with your weapon and you should get this fast.
Popcorn Tracker
- Kill a human that is covered in popcorn
Kill a human only using the popcorn bazooka which unlocks at level 10. When the human is down, shoot them twice with it and they will die, earning you this.
What’re Ya Gonna Do?
- As a Brawler, Knock a Human’s block off using the boxing gloves
Reach level 50, unlock Shorty the Klown, equip boxing gloves as his weapon, and deliver the finishing blow to a human using a fully charged punch (hold right click). It has to be the hit that kills them when they’re downed.
Hurler
- Hit a human with a thrown cocoon
While holding a cocoon as a klown, you can hold right mouse to charge and throw it. You have to hit a human with that thrown cocoon.
