Quick guie for uncapping the FPS from 30/60 in Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance TD.

How to Unlock FPS in Kingdom Rush 5

  • Start the game through Steam and set up your options (way you would want them to be).
  • Exit the game.
  • Go to this folder on your computer:
C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\kingdom_rush_alliance
  • Open the settings.lua file with a text editor.
  • Change the “fps” number to match your screen’s refresh rate.
  • Save the file and close the text editor.
  • Right-click on the file and select Properties.
  • Check the Read-only box.

Extra Information:

  • To change game settings later, uncheck the Read-only box first.
  • You can turn on antialiasing by changing “msaa” to 1 in the file.
  • If you find any problems after changing the FPS, please tell me.
  • Opening the Steam overlay will set your FPS to 30.
