Tips to Complete All 3 Stages of the Weekly Event
To Prep
Depending on your league, 2k of every common (green) and 2k to 10k of every rare (blue). Though if you are asking, you probably only need 2k. Note that you only really need the ones that are specific to the event but as you don’t know what those are, you need to prep ahead for all.
20 recruit chips. These would all be used, but you do get a good refund on completion, net use is only 12.
5k gem–you might not need to use all of them, ideally you only need to spend 300-1.5k depending on whether you have crate slots, are sufficiently active etc, but extra is required as insurance in case of bad luck etc.
Unclaimed daily, weekly, PvP crate at start of event, including a set of 3 win crate that are off cooldown.

Do every node except the spend token ones in ch1 and ch 2 (the spin ones are mandatory, but spend tokens are all optional). The spend 500 gem is semi-optional: you don’t need to do it if you bought all the crate slot, you must do it if you haven’t.
In chapter 3, you must do both get 300 gem and 350 lego, also do boost 9 if you can afford it and don’t have crate slots. Then do 20 recruit +50k token for completion.
Day 1
You should reach (but not complete, if you don’t get lucky with spin) spin 4 legendary in chapter 3. This will require buying a few battles, that is worth it.
Day 2
You should reach spend 50k node, this might require you spending some gems farming out lego crate in PvP. Further, if you don’t have crate slots, you should reset boss 14 6 times to repeatedly fight it. That day and the 2 days after it, you should only do boss 5 to 14.
At that point, you have 4 and half days left to go. You would be a bit ahead on toke if ftp(due to doing the spend 500 and the boss refresh), but you will also have less token generation. Overall, you should, even without any token spin, get to about 45k token by end of event either way. So all you need is 1 token spin, which will happen 96% of the time. And if you are spectacularly unlucky…. that’s what the extra gem is for, pay for the last spin with gem (if you don’t have enough token and try to spin it will prompt you to pay for the difference with gem).
Note: The above is mostly for players who are League 13 and above. This is because it is prohibitively expensive to do the event for those below that, due to the first optional branch pair in chapter 3:
Boost 9 is really hard to do now, because super serum is in short supply. Unless you delay it by at least 2 days by doing boost 5 then boost 4, but that in itself will be 2k token lost in terms of boss farming and thus ~700 gem down if you aren’t lucky with spins.
And 350 lego would require a LOT of crates, I think 5+, the lower the league the more, and those cost 179 a piece. L13 only takes 3-4, which while not ideal is…. more reasonable (especially if you also use recruit bonus and BP to cover part of it so you only need one or two).
