What you need to do

You need dupes, you can either drop them in crates:

• Rare crate for rare mercenaries.
• Epic crate for epic mercenaries.
• Legendary crate for legendary mercenaries.

You can also get dupes/new mercenary in events and in gacha.

The only way to use credits is by leveling up your mercenaries.

So how do you level up Commander?

To be more precise, each Commander level requires a power “threshold”. Once you reach it, you can level up your commander. Consider your power as an ‘XP bar’ for your Commander, if you prefer.

Personal advice

Keep your current squad in favourites but don’t hesitate to tap the “Optimize” button from time to time, in case it could allow you commander to be upgraded.

After that, you can still get your squad back filtering the mercenaries by favorites.

Another advice for spending credits to lvl up merc, if you’re still new to game, just lvl up legendary as higher priority, the epic merc, it is better to lvl up to 6, then reboot only once. For rare, if possible do not simply lvl them up unless it is for events or you r at lower league like between 29-25 that you need to push further until u can start modify your merc from:

• Common > rare, rare > epic and epic > legendary

Once reach a much higher league, credits are very precious as lvling up merc cost even more until you wish for more credits than more merc points.
