Tips to Get High Damage During Run

The first/top wand is the main damage dealer. The rest of the stuff in other wands was more placeholders and either not being used or providing minimal damage, e.g. Skull of the Cthulhu does probably <500 DPS but is nice as a meat shield to block some attacks and it self-heals.

The spells on wand 1

• Accelerator helps the projectiles get to the target faster and hopefully hit more targets. It also allows Thunderstorm to move towards the nearest target.
• Venom Crystal adds poison stacks. Kinda minor damage but every little bit helps.
• Frost Crystal freezes mobs making them less likely to hit you and more likely to get hit (and hit more often).
• Range Enhanced increases the AoE size of Boomerang Blade and Thunderstorm.
• Time Duration Enhanced increases the duration of Boomerang Blade and Thunderstorm.
• DMG Enhanced… increases the spell damage.

• Automatic Navigate allows the spells to home in on the targets before they hit (Magic Bullet) and also after they hit for those with Penetration (Boomerang Blade and Thunderstorm) so that they turn around and come back.
• Volley fires multiple spells at the same time for a reduced mana cost.
• Multi-Shot turns each spell into two projectiles for 150% mana cost increase (so 2x the damage for 1.5x the cost).
• Magic Bullet+ may not seem like much damage-wise but it provides a debuff to enemies hit so they take 50% more damage for 4 seconds.
• Boomerang Blade+ does pretty good damage, moves quickly, and has high penetration so it hits many targets before returning.
• Thunderstorm hits all targets in a pretty large area that moves towards enemies, allowing multiple lightning strikes to enemies in the area.

Hopefully that helps. This obviously isn’t the only way to get high damage but it’s kinda a core build that I gravitate towards often in runs.

UPD.

Most basic Cthulu, this is 150k dps in training room so it should definitely be decent in game, the left side of the wand is just kinda whatever buffs that aren’t too important, the right side is where it’s at… you can add range enhancer, projectile speed, and duration for water bubble charge time.
