How to Build Up Troop / March Might Quickly
Hey y’all, after playing for a while I’ve noticed that some haven’t really understood most of the ways to get these two up and been constantly asking people about it. So here’s a “how to” basic guide on getting these 2 up!
- Obviously at the start you’ll need to upgrade your training halls (raider, fighter, ranger halls respectively) to the same level as your HQ (headquarters) so that you increase the capacity of which your training halls can pump out, for example:
When you have a lvl 3 fighter training hall you can see how many will be trained, let’s say it’s 100 fighters per 1 hour, say you upgrade it to a lvl 4 training hall. You’ll notice that the troops you can train per hour will increase by an increment of x amount, let’s say it’ll now be 106. Whatever the might is of a singular troop, let’s say 1 tier 1 unit is 10 might per training, you’ll get 100 might if you train 10, and you’ll get 1000 might if you train 100.
The second one I’ve noticed is that most players don’t know that you can “promote” your troops to your highest tier troop, promoting your units to your highest tier troop is good in a lot of ways; Though it may be time consuming, promoting low tier troops to your highest tier troops is good for:
- Whenever you promote low tier troops, let’s say tier 1 to tier 6. Not only do you remove your tier 1’s from your troop capacity / garrison, but you’re also adding on the number of tier 6’s you have by a huge margin, promoting your troops is different from training normal units. Let’s say you are training tier 6 fighters, if you train them you’ll only get 300 per 3 hours, promoting on the other hand promotes your tier 1 into tier 6 in let’s say 400 tier 6 fighters in 3 hours. They’ve already trained to be fighters, so “it’s easier for them to be promoted than training grunts from scratch.”
- Your troop march isn’t filled by random tiers of unit types, without saying much on this cause it’s already understandable that a tier 8 is better than a tier 1, you get the benefit of getting more bang for your buck every time you send your troops to hunt / build / garrison / gather / etc.
And last but not least, knowing what the “command stat” of beasts do, “research upgrades” in your research institute, “beast passives” and “building passives”.
Command Stat: It’s how many troops you can add in to your march by having one of / all of your beasts in the march, let’s say you have a lvl 101 pyrodra and it has 3000 base command stats without “alterations”, that’ll let you add 3000 more troops to your base march capacity.
Research Upgrades: If you check your research institute you’ll see 3 types of research you can do, in this case you only need 2 of the 3 for your troops, which are development tech, and military tech;
Military: Your overall troop might and march capacity can be upgraded here.
Development: Your overall troop training capacity / speed of your troops training by x%, and how many rallies you can make can be upgraded here, “leadership” is for the how many rallies you can make.
Beast Passives: Have you noticed that you can only take 1 of each type of beast in your rallies? Like ranger, fighter, and raider? Because every beast has it’s passives for hunt / building / gathering resources / and overall might boosts for your troops for their respective position (ranger, fighter, raider) by a percentage on their base stats and their war gear stats. You can check your beasts on what they’re good at by pressing “beasts” pressing on the beast you wanna check, let’s say pyrodra, you’ll see at the top right it says “research and oil”. Which means pyrodra is good for research speed % and oil gathering.
(Last But Not Least) Building Passives: When you upgrade your buildings like your “Head quarters, Rally center, etc.” you’ll see the command stat again, and in the rally centers case, you’ll see the +x amount of troops added to your rallies.
