Guide for New Players

Resources:

Manage your food, wood, and stone carefully. These resources are the backbone of your city’s growth and development.

Cultures:

These represent various aspects of society management. The buildings you choose to build will determine how these cultures are influenced. For example, building an arena will create a military culture district, while building a ceramic workshop will create a production district.

Six cultures are available at the beginning of your adventure:

  • Production
  • Military
  • Religion
  • Education
  • Commercial
  • Politics.

Buildings:

Are one of the pillars of Memoriapolis. All buildings produce positive or negative attraction. Every building’s location affects force fields, which in turn shapes how people use and live in your city.

  • Production buildings: used to generate resources.
  • Cultural buildings: increase the satisfaction of your citizens and attract new citizens.
  • Service buildings: offer essential management options for the city (Macellum for trade route, Senate for the factions etc…).

Wonders are prestigious buildings with their own special effects. They can only be built during the corresponding age.

Mixed buildings: new feature. Some cultural buildings can evolve from one age to another and transform into unique buildings

Satisfaction Levels:

Keep an eye on your Satisfaction levels and remember that Service Buildings offer Satisfaction boosts

Secret Tips:

  • The architectural office will give you blueprints to construct more buildings.
  • Build 2 farms with 10 camps to avoid starvation.
  • Place your production buildings as far as possible from your city center to save space.
  • Don’t panic if events such as the Black Death or riots knock at your doors!

How to Handle Food More Easily:

  • The main one is being sure you build your farms in the safety zone and not the attrition zone.
  • Upgrade them to at least level 3.
  • Sell your resources which stocks are full to Macellum to buy food, as you can buy more than your storage.
