How to Fix Aliasing for RTX Users
DLDSR
DLDSR is a special technology made by Nvidia. It’s similar to the resolution scaling in games, but it uses advanced computer techniques to get better results. To use DLDSR, you need:
- A newer Nvidia graphics card (20xx series or newer)
- A display that works with it (some high refresh rate settings might not work)
To turn on DLDSR:
- Open the Nvidia control panel or Nvidia Beta app
- Choose between 1.75x or 2.25x DLDSR options
- Set the smoothness (33% is the default, but you can change it)
In your game:
- Go to System > Settings > Display
- Turn on Fullscreen
- Choose either 1.75x or 2.25x resolution option
- Pick the option that gives you the best balance of image quality and game speed
Remember to keep the in-game scaler at 100%. Using a higher setting will make your graphics card work much harder. While very high resolutions might look great, most computers won’t be able to handle it well.
Driver Injections
This section explains how to enhance the base image to give DLDSR more information to work with. We’ll do two things: add 8x FXAA and use better texture filtering.
To add FXAA, open the Control Panel and go to Application Settings. Find and select Metaphor in your game folder, then turn on the 8x FXAA option.
For better texture filtering, stay in the same menu and turn on two more options that improve texture quality.
After making these changes, click Apply and start the game again.
