Defeating the Optional Dragon on Hard

By DanzoLovesEyes.

My Party Was:

  • Protag: Seeker
  • Girus: Mage
  • Strol: Warrior

You’ll want the 5 Ice chunks to get a good bit of damage done early, and you’ll need a lot of the 100 hp heals, Medicine, and maybe the revive item if you get unlucky with crits or dodge, but that’s optional since you could easily redo it with R3.

TDLR: I put them all in back row, seeker will only heal , and may use Tarakukaja on the mage if everyone has adequate HP, Warrior will at the start be using the ice chunks to get an extra press turn, but after that only heal by using medicine. most important part is that the warrior and especially seeker will have to be guarding for the dragon attacks.

That’s the gist, as for what I did each turn, it depended on the turn order for party, and if I had ice chunks or not.

Here’s what I would do depending on who started the turn:

  • Mage: Ice magic -> Seeker: Heal/Tarakukaja -> Warrior: Guard -> Mage: Ice magic -> Seeker: Guard.
  • Seeker (With Ice Chunks): Heal/Tarakukaja -> Warrior -> Ice chunks -> Mage: Ice Magic -> Seeker: Gaurd -> Warrior: Gaurd.
  • Seeker (Without Ice Chunks): Heal/Tarakukaja -> Warrior: Gaurd -> Mage: Ice magic -> Seeker: Gaurd.

And you know what to do if you start with Warrior by now.
