Omniheroes – 6-Month Strategy Guide for Beginners (Early to Mid-game)

New Players Guide to 6-Month Strategy

By Azu

Month 1

  • Hero Priority: Dahlia

Focus on Dahlia as your first priority. You likely won’t gather more than 100 Oracle Tokens in your first month.

Month 2

  • Hero Priority: Dahlia, Elmer

7* Dahlia is incredibly strong and enables you to pass through much of the game’s content, especially with the Astrid-Atropos-Aiushtha (AAA) combo.

Choose Aiushtha from any of the DD selector cards the game offers you once your Dahlia is 7 and you’ve a 6* Astrid.

Month 3

  • Hero Priority: Elmer, Leandra

Push Elmer to 7* which is crucial for survival in Rift Odyssey when combined with the Undying Shield artifact.

Month 4

  • Hero Priority: Astrid, Ophelia

Month 5

  • Hero Priority: Astrid, Leandra

Push Leandra 7* which makes her incredibly powerful for PVE and PVP content.

7* Astrid is also essential, unlocking her Deviant synergy.

Month 6

  • Hero Priority: Ophelia, Sera

Start working on Sera, a key hero for your second PVE team.

7* Ophelia unlocks Deviants as well as Sanctuary, which significantly buffs your Dahlia + AAA combo.

Important Notes

Catherine only becomes effective when you acquire her yellow exclusive runes, so don’t prioritize her too early unless you’re ready to unlock those runes.

Astrid shines once she gets her red exclusive runes, transforming her into a game-breaking hero, but she will primarily serve as the enabler for the AAA combo until then.

Planning Ahead

Ensure you plan 2 months ahead for Oracle Shop purchases, as there’s a monthly limit. Start buying Astrid and Catherine once you’re close to finishing their runes, which is critical for their effectiveness in later stages of the game.

If Mulan proves to be a must-have hero for the upcoming season, switch Leandra’s buying order with her.
You’ll need Mulan at 7 stars for her burn ability if it becomes essential.

How to Progress after this Guide

Your further progress depends on the meta synergy at the time, as well as the roster of heroes you’ve obtained. Here’s how to prioritize based on popular synergies:

Note: This is the order to follow after you’ve completed all the previously mentioned heroes to 8 (other than Elmer, Leandra and Mulan).

Finish your 7* heroes from the previous guide to 8*, then build whichever synergy is meta/necessary.

Audrey to 8 is first.

  • Ethereals: Wukong & Elowyn (Wukong to 12, Elowyn can stay at 9), Lysandra (skip)
  • Vals: Leandra > Nyx
  • Mystifiers: Mulan (can stay at 7), Catherine & Astrid (both ideally to 12-star)
  • Avengers: Janna, Althea (Janna ideally to 12, Althea stays at 8)
  • Glorians: Gloria, Ariana (Skip Ariana until you start on a seasonal PVP)
  • Reflect Team: Lamia, Madelyn (can stay at 8 for doom fillers in seasonal PVP)

Important Note

Getting Catherine and Janna/Astrid + many other Royals that’d love to be 12* will be a difficult and slow process. As a F2P/low spender, you’ll want to prioritize getting all Royals to 8 stars just in case they become necessary in future content.

Conclusion

In my honest opinion, focus on what’s meta and needed, but aim to eventually get all Royals to 8 stars. Ignore advancing beyond 8 stars unless you’re willing to spend. This way, you’ll be prepared for any future requirements without stretching your resources too thin.
